Chapter 11

I'M BACK AND HERE IS THE NEXT CHAPTER!!

It had begun raining like it did the other day and no one was pleased. You and Levi's horses had been occupied by soldiers who rode on wagons for the expedition so the two of you had to catch a ride on the wagon.

The expedition was over with so Erwin, Mike, and Hanji thought it would be nice to join you and Levi on the wagon, allowing the other soldiers to ride on their horses. The ride back would be time-consuming so why not enjoy it with your fellow comrades? There were two sides you could sit on, both across from the other. You and Levi were already seated on the left side so the others sat on the right side, smiling at the two of you.

"Tch, what is so amusing?" Asked Levi, furrowing his brows at his comrades.

Hanji waved her hands, "Nothing nothing... It's just... How's it hanging?"

"How's it what?" Levi questioned, confused by her words.

"You know... How's it hanging?" She chuckled to herself, "Cause you guys were hanging in the tree..."

You shook your head at her awful pun and Levi just gazed at her in confusion, still not quite getting the joke.

You looked up, soaking in the rain then looked back down. The ride was smooth and wet... Considering the rain anyway but you tried not to pay attention to it. As the ride went along, you grew tired, dozing off every now and again. The people across from you took notice of it, preferably Erwin and Mike. The two men exchanged glances and then they looked to Levi who was off in his own world, probably thinking of some "shit" jokes or how his tea wasn't well-made earlier that morning. Mike cleared his throat, catching Levi's attention and Erwin motioned to you. Levi looked to his side, noticing that you had fallen asleep, though you looked uncomfortable. "What d you want me to do?" Asked Levi and the two other comrades exchanged glances again.

Erwin piped up, "Scoot closer to her so she has something to lean on. She'll hurt her neck if she stays in that position."

"Tch..." Levi glared at her, but he let his expression soften as you snoozed by yourself. He moved closer and you involuntarily leaned yourself on his shoulder. Levi's eyes widened and he looked at Erwin and Mike, who was smiling. Levi's cheeks heated up and he looked away.

Time had passed and everyone was deep in thought, passing the time. Hanji looked over at you and Levi, which was quite the sight. You were BOTH sound asleep, leaning on each other. It was possibly the cutest thing that Hanji had ever seen. The rain had died down, though you were all still soaked and Hanji stood, grabbing a blanket. She placed it around the two of you before sitting back down.

When there were "safer" and "longer" expeditions like this then we would bring things like food, water, and blankets for the rides there and back. It was convenient.

You all made it back to HQ safely and when the wagon stopped, Erwin tapped on Levi, waking him up. His eyes fluttered a couple times before they opened enough for him to realize what was going on. He looked at you and a small smile could be seen on his face. Erwin walked over and lifted your dainty body into his big and strong arms. "I'll take her to her room. She could use the sleep." Erwin said softly, trying not to wake you.

"No," Levi said, "I will take her..."

Erwin nodded and Levi easily took your body into his arms. He turned and walked to the dorms, leaving his comrades to watch him.

As Levi walked, your eyes opened slightly, "Hm?"

"Shh, just shut your eyes (Y/n)." Was all he said and with that, you shut your eyes, curling yourself up into him even more.

Your bedroom door was locked so Sasha must have been in bed already... 'Shit,' thought Levi. 'To my room it is...' He walked and opened his door, revealing a semi-large bedroom. It had a queen sized bed, two bedside tables, a dresser, recliner, two windows, a closet, and a door that lead to a small bathroom just for Levi. He placed you softly on his bed, pulling the blankets up. "Tch... My bed is going to be wet now... Gah, I can get over it. I can get over it for her..." He ran his hand through his wet hair and left, going to find some clean clothes or you when Erwin stopped him.

"Levi. Come joined us for tea, would you?" Erwin asked, motioning to the mess hall, where Mike and Hanji had been too.

"Ah... Sure."

The two of them walked into the room and took a seat next to one another. Mike looked down at Levi and crinkled his nose, sniffing. "Where is (Y/n)?"

"Her room was locked so she is in my bed at the moment... And don't worry, I didn't plan on sharing it with her."

Erwin rubbed the nape of his neck and opened his mouth. "We wanted to talk to you about her."

"Tch, what? I've already established that she's a brat so if you're just now figuring this out then-"

"No, Levi..." Hanji interrupted. "It's time we talked about the possibility of your relationship with her."

Levi's brows furrowed, "What do you mean 'possibility?'"

Mike crossed his arms and leaned back, "We know that you like her and don't even try to hide it, okay?"

"Tch..." Levi looked away. "... I know... But she's my subordinate and-"

"Levi, we are allowing this just once..." Erwin stated. "We want you to be happy and the three of us decided that that would be the only thing that could change it."

"W-Well... What do you suppose I do?" Levi asked.

Mike picked up his tea, "First of all. Lose your attitude. Talk to her in a nicer way, god you're such a dick sometimes."

"God, tell me how you really feel, Mike," Levi said, crossing his arms.

"Well, I'm just saying." Mike rubbed his mustache. "I've shipped you two from the start and sometimes I worry that you'll ruin it with your attitude."

"S-Ship?"

"Nothing, nothing... Anyways. Maybe dress in a way you might catch her attention. You'll figure it out." Erwin spoke, changing the conversation.

"Okay, got it..." Levi said, taking a mental note. "I can't believe I'm getting advice from you all..."

"No mind that!" Hanji said. "Just go get your girl!"
