You and Ethan were married for two years now and the first year was nothing but lust. He would come home early and shower you in gifts. But now he forgets your birthday and your anniversary. He even forgets to pick up your daughter from school.

One night he came home, and walked right past you not even saying hello.

"Ethan! Where were you?!" You asked. He snarled back "why do you need to know? I was working late."

"It's 11:00 Ethan you weren't at work, you forgot to pick up Lilly from school!"

"I did?! Oh sorry" he said with a sarcastic smirk. "FUCK YOU ETHAN! I'm so tired of this! I'm done ok?!"

You stomped up to Lilly's room and grabbed her from bed, running down the stairs to your car.

You were engaged and Lilly was now calling your fiancée dad. It was almost his birthday so you went out to buy a present.

You were in the mall walking around and decided to go into Starbucks. You stood in line behind a man wearing a t-shirt and shorts.

He turned around with two coffees in his hands.

"Hi oh my gosh it's so nice to see you!" He said but his eyes then narrowed down to your hand then to your finger.

"You're engaged?". You tried hiding your finger under your wallet but Ethan smiled "I'm happy for you! I actually am engaged too."

You smiled back at him and offered to walk around with him for a bit but he declined explaining his fiancée was waiting for him.

But you guys did exchange numbers again and went your separate ways.

He was a little upset but understood after a couple tries. Lilly was happy too and you were absolutely in love with Ethan again, just like the beginning.
