Metting new people

As I start to get ready for school I take a look at the note from yesterday. I was going to ask if that blond boy was the one who wrote it. I've seen him around school he seems to be one of those cool kids who all the girls want to date. I've also seen that ginger boy at school I really want to see if he's alright from yesterday. I felt a little weird inside it wasn't like me to want to talk to people willingly what has gotten into me. I head out grabbing my bag walking out, I head to a spot where me, Nelly and Rylen meet up to walk together and as always I'm the first one here. I wait a couple of minutes until I see them coming, I smile waving at them they wave back at me. We begin to walk to school, I was paying close attention to the people around us wanting to see if either of the boys were around. Nothing. I sigh "Maybe I might have some better luck finding them in school" I say in my head holding onto the straps of my backpack. "You alright there Nat you look kinda down in the dumps" Rylen says tilting his head to the side, I snap out of my thoughts "H-Huh? Oh! Y-Yea I'm fine don't worry" I scratch my neck feeling embarrassed. We reach the school and I rush to my locker not wasting any time I head to class and actually look around my class room. There were so many people who all looked so different it was amazing to me, as I look around I spot someone who looks very familiar. It was the ginger boy who had gotten coffee spilled on him I walk over to him not thinking about what I was gonna say, I just stand there next to him until he looks up and we lock eyes. "Um... m-may I help you?" He asks his voice sounding a little nervous "Yes, yes you can I just wanted to ask if you were ok I saw what those jerks did to you and I assure you that I did what had to be done once you left" I saw him smile lightly at what I had just said he seemed to be happy that I did something about it. "Y-Yea I'm fine just a few burn marks from the coffee but it'll go away thanks for asking" I smile at him I decided I wanted to get to know him more so I sat next to him. "So what's your name stranger" I ask looking at him "I-Its Chris and you are" "I'm Nat its nice to meet you Chris" "Nice to meet you too Nat" and with that small introduction we began to have a small conversation. I thought for a second thinking if I should ask a question that I've been wanting to ever since that jerk made fun of him for it. "Sssooo Chris I've been wanting to ask you a question  for a while now" I say turning toward him "Yea ok shoot" he says also turning towards me "Ok so tell me if this is a ride question or if you don't want to answer it that's perfectly fine but yesterday that boy who had spilled the coffee on you had said you were transgender... is that true?" I see his skin turn pale even more than it already was his eyes look terrified and he began to shake slightly. But he closed his eyes and took a deep breath "Y-Yes its true I'm transgender.... I usually get picked on or teased because of it but hey what can you do when you're born in the body you don't want" he chuckled nervously scratching his neck looking away from me. I place my hand on his shoulder and he looks at me, I smile sweetly at him "Well at least you can live in the body you want now I won't judge your the best guy in my eyes" I see him blush lightly and laugh "Hehehe thanks Nat"
