Double Date

Hi Guys! So please keep in mind that this is my first ever fanfic as you read this! Also, I am still figuring out the format of this book, so apologies in advance if things get a little confusing when it comes to the order of how things are. Anyways, enjoy!

This is just about a cute little double date that Jughead and Betty have with Archie and Veronica! ( also, this takes place in the future, where the core four are about to graduate from high school, and also, Jellybean is back, with her mom.

Jughead's POV

"So Juggie, where ya goin?"

My little sister, Jellybean asked as I was quickly fixing my tie in my room.

"Nowhere Jellybean, it doesn't matter. Why?"

"Because you're in a suit, and you almost NEVER wear a suit. The only time I've seen you wear one, is to Great Grammy Jones's funeral..."

"Ugh, FINE. I'm going on a date."

I blurted out, with a tone of annoyance.

"HA! I KNEW IT! who are you going with?"

She asked with a tone of excitement in her voice, which I couldn't help but chuckle at.

"With my girlfriend, Betty, we are going on a double date with Archie and Veronica."

I answered. As soon as i mentioned Betty's name, a cartoon sized smirk appeared on her face, which again, made me chuckle.

"So are you.."

I knew what she was going to ask me, so I stopped her before she could ask it

"No, I'm not going to propose to Betty, Jellybean. Not yet anyway..."

And with that, all she could do was smile, and walk back to her room, full of hope that I would keep my word. I chuckled, finished up with my tie, then made my way over to Betty's house with my dad's truck, to pick her up.

I slowly made my way up the stairs that led to the Cooper's house, about to suffer the terrible wrath of the one and only, Alice Cooper. Over the years, after countless attempts to get on her good side, she finally showed me a bit of mercy, but she never fully accepted me, especially because of my father, and his dark past.

I knocked on the front door, expecting to have a strict Alice Cooper answer the door, but to my surprise, Polly, Betty's older sister greeted me, with a warm, welcoming smile. shortly after Polly answered, her twins came peeping behind her, curious to see who was at the door. As soon as they realized it was me, both of them grabbed onto my legs, one on each.

"Hi Jughead! Sorry about the twins"

she chuckled, and then told the twins to come back inside. They almost immediately got off my legs, but instead of going back into the house they just looked up at me, with huge smiles on their faces

"It's alright Polly, I don't mind"

I quickly answered back, smiling at the two children looking up at me.

"Hi Jason! Hi Charlotte!"

I quickly said, crouching down to give them both a hug.

"Hi uncle Juggie!"

They both returned in unison, which made me chuckle

"Okay everyone, why don't we come inside, its getting dark out! and its almost time for you to go to bed Charlotte and Jason!"
