Here in the forest, dark and deep, I offer you, eternal sleep
Lily awoke to a flicker of bright light. She fluttered her eyes open with a swift movement. All she could see was light, very bright light. The space she woke up in was nothing, just a endless white glare as far as she could see out. Then unbelievably she saw her father. She got up and ran towards him.
"Dad?" Lily's eyes began to tear up and she hugged him like he was the last being on Earth. He said nothing and then slowly broke their embrace. He disappeared into the neverending realm of white.
"Dad?" Lily took a few steps forward. "Dad are you there?" Then Lily was gone.
Whispers could be heard. Very faint and hushed. "Where am I?" Lily wondered aloud. "Oh Lily!" There was a few sniffles. "You're awake!" Then, loud Footsteps. More sniffles. It appeared to sound as if someone were crying. She then felt a hand on her arm. She finally felt the strength to open her eyes. She was back in the white space.
"Mom?" This can't be real! Lily thought. My mother died ten years ago in a car accident. Lily's mom was crying a river. She then hugged her.
"Lily listen to me," Her mother let go of her, "You can not give in to them. No matter how much they persuade don't listen or the outcome will not be good. My sweet little rose please stay safe."
Her voice them grew distant and without Lily moving a muscle, her eyes shut. Then a new sort of presence came over her along with someone new. Lily could feel that she was not alone. "My dear rose, my dear rose." A demonic voice rung through Lily's ears like bells chiming. It grew louder and louder reapeating those words. Then all grew silent.
Lily woke up for a final time, mesmerized by the events that had occured. Lily was scared to open her eyes again. She then had a sudden leap of courage and forced her eyes open. She was in a hospital bed. Someone was sitting on a chair to her right, asleep. It was her friend Danna. Great, not this girl again. Well, at least she was kind enough to be here. Wait. Why am I here in the first place?
Lily then forgot about the visions she had saw and her deceased mothers words. Little did she know, she would be in great distress without them. Word of the wise, never forget the words of your parents. When they say they know best, they know very well best.
Danna woke up to a nurse shaking her shoulder. "Honey wake up, we have breakfeast down in the cafeteria if you would like it, the doctor needs a few words with Lily if you don't mind."
"Okay, thanks."
"No problem, hun."
Danna had been in the hospital ever since she got news that Lily was unresponsive and had fainted. She knew that Lily didn't like her but they were still good friends. Besides, Lily needed someone to be with her while she was in the hospital.
When Danna got to the cafeteria she saw a couple of older people talking. When she heard Lily's name come up in the conversation, she began to eavesdrop.
"Did you hear about that weird one named Lily?" This older lady had on a flower dress and was eating some toast.
"Yeah they said she was acting very crazy ever since she found out her dad had died." The other lady was wearing a pair of sweatpants and a sweatshirt, drinking some juice.
"The weird thing is that she was talking in her sleep," said the lady in the dress. "I also heard that she was sleepwalking. Not only that but mumuring rose in a very deep voice."
"That doesn't sound very lady like to me," muttered the other old lady. "It's actually quite creepy sounding."
Danna had heard enough. She then lost her appetite as well. She huried back up into Lily's room.
When she walked in Lily was franticly scribling on the wall. "Lily what are you doing?" gasped Danna. Lily turned her head around slowly with a huge grin on her face. The wall said something. It read, Go to hell Danna, before I take you with me.
Lily turned her head back and laughed devilishly for what seemed like forever. Danna was to much in shock to do anything. Lily then dropped to the ground. "Nurse!" Danna screamed running out of the room to get help as quickly as she could.
