after
your pov:
you ran upstairs locking the door. sobs coming out of your mouth. tears running down your cheeks. you shut the door and slide down it as you hear gray's steps get closer to the door."y/n", he sighs, "open the door, please".
you continue sobbing. trying hard not to stutter as your breath hitched trying to calm yourself down.
"gr-gray, just leave me al-o-alone".
not wanting another argument, he walks away.
— later that night —
you couldn't sleep. all you could think of was how grayson gave that girl his number. you couldn't believe he would risk everything for another girl, and it made your heart ache at the thought of him being throwing away your relationship.
you tossed and turned in bed until you gave up, facing the wall. you sigh loudly and slide on your slippers. you make your way downstairs to the living room quietly as you hear grayson grunt on the couch.
you could tell he had trouble sleeping without you.
"gray" you softly say.
he quickly sits up and faces you.
"y/n, i thought you were asleep", although he tried to hide it, you could hear the guilt in his voice.
"i can't sleep w-"
"without me, i know", he interrupted you, "i can't sleep without you either".
there's a moment of silence and staring at each other before he speaks again, "y/n, i'm so sorry i-''
"grayson just stop. can we just go sleep? we can just talk about this in the morning" you thought out loud. "i'm just really tired".
he stood up, made his way towards you and picks you up. you wrap your legs around his torso as places his hands on the back of your thighs. you hug him and place your right cheek on his right shoulder as he made his way upstairs.
finally in your shared room, he laid you down, and slipped in bed. you guys slept cuddled up next to one another not discussing the fight you had hours before.
