trip
you had to go to florida on a business trip for a few days. that meant leaving grayson with your son, carter. you absolutely trusted grayson because he has always been a good father.
"it looks like i'm all packed." you sighed.
grayson gets off the couch, with carter in his arms. carter extends his arms out for you to hold him.
"mama!" he yelled with a smile on his face.
little did he know that his smile wasn't gonna last long. you held him, and kept on kissing his cheek. you were gonna miss your little boy, even if it was all just for a few days.
grayson eventually comes close to you, and wrapping his arms around you and carter. he lays his head on top of yours.
"i'm gonna miss you both, but it's only for a few days."
grayson lets go, and places a kiss to your forehead. carter's face expression changes when he hears your words.
"weave?" he asked you.
lmao he's saying leave but he's like 3, but anyways i throw my weave back & forth. let me stop, i'm not funny
"yes baby, only for a few days i will be back."
he puts his arms around your neck and cries softly onto your shoulder.
"won't weave," he whispers into your shoulder.

"i'm sorry."
!beep beep!
the car outside was your coworkers who were going on the trip with you. you pass carter to grayson and give them each a kiss.
"i love you, be safe! i'll be back soon."
"we look you mama!" carter yells as you close the door shut. they watch you by the living room window as you get into the car.

later that night
it's was now night time, and because the boys were in nj, the time zone was the same. you decide to facetime grayson. it was ringing until he finally answered.
"hey babe," he says happily.
"hey gray, how's carter?"
"hold on, carter come here, i'v got to show you something."
carter was placed on grayson's lap, taking the phone from grayson's hand when he saw your face.
"mama! i mish yu!" he shouts, excited to even see your face.
"i miss you too bup. how's daddy behaving?"
you hear grayson chuckle in the background, then smiling at how cute carter is missing you.
"good! mama are you coming home?" he askes, only wanting to hug you again.
"not yet but very soon baby."
"can i sweep with papa, becawse he'sh gunna be wonewy?"
i suck at writing how kids talk, but he just said that he wants to sleep with gray because he'll be lonely without you
"of course."
"ok mama, i'm gonna go watch some paw pawtrol. i wuv you."
"he's too cute. hey i got an idea! let's make another one!" grayson laughs to you.
"graaay. stop." you laugh at his comment.
"i missing you a lot more than i thought." he pouts. "you're not even my mom and i think I miss you more than how carter misses you."
"me too my love. but only 3 more days."
"3 days and i get to beat that pussy uppp!"
"BAILEY DOLAN!" you say sternly.
"oh don't yell at me! you're not resisting when i'm pounding into you, are you?"
you and gray may have been together for a little over 4 years now, but he still makes you blush.
"shut up, change the topic."
he laughs and just stares at how beautiful you are. you cover up your face, telling him to stop once again. your conversation last for another hour or so before you let him go.
"i have to wake up at 6 tomorrow. i hate being on this trip. but i promise i'll call you again tomorrow."
"i'll let you get some sleep. goodnight y/n. i love you."
"i love you to grayson."
you both smile at each other before hanging up. getting comfortable in your bed, you think about how lucky you are to have boys who love and miss you, with all their beautiful hearts.
