Leaving

Stephanie's POV

Today is the day we leave to go home. I'm not really excited but I guess I am because prom is on Friday. It's been a long week and I'm pretty sure everyone is tired. I haven't seen my parents at all but we all agreed on going to breakfast together before we leave.

We ended up going to a little diner outside of grand bend. It was a cute little place that attracted many people. When we entered the diner, the aroma of bacon and eggs filled my nose causing my stomach to growl.

We ended up sitting in a booth in the back. Mostly everyone order the usual eggs bacon and toast, but because I'm a picky water I order a breakfast sandwich sausage and a fruit salad. I got looks all around the table once I began to eat "do you want some of my bacon?" Taylor whispered in my ear. I shook my head "no thank you I'm good" I simply said as I indulged into my food.

Within minutes everyone had finished their meals and we were ready to drive back home. Thirty minutes into driving I turned around and noticed everyone was already asleep. Clearly they need to go to bed early like I did. I turned back and looked out the window, tons of thoughts came running through my mind. What if Taylor doesn't want to be with me when he returns to magcon? I felt someone tap my leg and I slightly jumped. I turned to see a concerned Taylor "what's wrong?" He asked as he directed his eyes back to the road. I shook my head "nothing is wrong I promise" I lied. He raised an eyebrow as he looked over at me "well that's a lie, come on tell me what's wrong" he begged. I sighed "what's going to happen when you go back to magcon and I'm still waiting her for you?" I spilled out then looked down at my lap.

There was silence in the car, Taylor still hadn't answered my question. My phone buzzed once and I looked at my message.

We're stopping at the next gas station to fill up let everyone know.

I rolled my eyes then texted Jack

Yo hoe we stopping at next gas station to fill up

I put my phone down in the cup holder and stared out the window "we are supposed to stop at the next gas station to fill up" I said to Taylor even tho I didn't look at him. He didn't say anything.

Finally we approached a gas station and pulled in. Right when Taylor parked the car I got out and began to walk towards the back of the gas station ignoring everyone around me. Once I got to the back I slid down the wall and sat on the grown with my hands in my head. I could feel the tears start to approach. What if Taylor leaves me? All sorts of thoughts began to swim around in my head when I felt someone grab my shoulders. I looked up to see Matt, thank gawd it wasn't Taylor. "What's wrong? Why are you crying?" Matt asked, I could already see the concerned look in his eyes. I quickly wiped away my tears as I was brought into a hug.

I told Matt everything about what happened in the car with Taylor. "He wouldn't leave you, he likes you too much" Matt reassured me as he have me a hug. I let out a sigh and then hugged him back. We decided to go inside and get slushie a then go back to the car before we had to leave.

Once I got back in the car I grabbed my headphones and plugged them in. Taylor wasn't in the car yet which meant I had time to prepare myself before he came back. I wasn't about to deal with his shit for the rest of the ride. As soon as I began listening to my music the driver seat was taken over by Taylor. I ignored him for the rest of the ride. He didn't try to talk to me once.

Once we pulled into my driveway I hopped out of the car and grabbed my luggage from the trunk. Knowing the guys would be leaving to go back to where they were staying I began to give everyone a hug. Starting with Aaron and ending with Matt, finally it was Taylor's turn. I approached him and gave him a hug. Then I let go and began to walk away until I was pulled back. "Please listen to me.." Taylor begged with tears forming in his eyes. Here we go again.
