Annabelle's PoV:
I strolled out of the school, the introductions of everyone still ringing in my ears. I wonder where my new house is? Yes, a house. I still can't believe it myself. I strolled out into the main street, cautiously watching the other students leave the main building. I slung my bag over my shoulder, beginning to walk to the train station. A hand reached out to stop me, causing me to look up to who was intervening. I saw someone who looked the same age as me with bright orange hair, his violet eyes piercing my light blue orbs.
"Who are you?" He asked, glaring right through me.
"None of your business," I replied curtly, pushing his arm away from me. He gripped onto my arm this time, fingernails digging into my skin. I tried to shake off his arm, his iron grip tightening with each second. I saw a flash of red before seeing my attacker on the floor: holding his cheek.
"Don't touch her again," A voice growled, pulling me back into him ; one arm wrapped protectively around me. I instantly recognised the voice, relaxing slightly. Karma walked away, his arm resting around my shoulder.
"I'm walking with you everyday, got it?" He demanded, his voice still dark. I nodded meekly, afraid to disobey.
~Time Skip to Train station~
"Thank you, Karma. I owe you," I smiled up at him, his arm still wrapped around my shoulder.
"Its no problem, he has always got on my nerves anyway," He chuckled.
"Well," I turned to face him as we stood in front of the train, "Thank you for walking with me,".
"It was my pleasure, princess," He said, a smirk plastered onto his face. A blush spread across my cheeks, causing me to look down. Quickly, I wrapped my arms around his waist before boarding the train. I slid down into the plush seat as I peered out the window. Did I really do that? Why did I do that? At least I didn't kiss him, right? I noticed he was still stood there, looking blank. Ah, way to go Ana: ruin a potential friendship. The train started to pull away, forcing me to look forward.
This is going to be a roller-coaster of emotions...
