Chapter 4:

Maka pov

After the lunch think I decided to go for a walk. I ended up back at home. It had started raining out so I decided to watch Netflix.
I ended up falling asleep to my favorite show, Glee.
**Dream**
I look around and there are mirrors all around me everywhere I turn I see my childish figure.
'Soul' I call out over and over....
When he finally appears he's with a bunch of girls who are laughing and mocking me. He says one thing.
'If you were less annoying and looked like these girls we'd have a chance. But you don't so goodbye Maka you're holding me back.'

Souls pov

I finally got home to see Maka asleep on the couch all balled up and crying.
She's yelling my name in her sleep. She sounds so scared.
"Maka... wake up. It's just a dream."
She pops up and looks into my crimson eyes with her large emerald ones. Pain flashes across her eyes and she looks down.
"It wasn't just a dream.." she says it so quiet I almost don't catch it.
"What do you mean it wasn't just a dream?"
"I was standing in front of a bunch of mirrors staring at my childish body and when I called for you you brought a bunch of girls who laughed at me. You told me I was holding you back, that you were leaving me. So iT WASN'T JUST A DREAM!"
She got up and ran to her room and locked the door. This was my chance to get her to go live her life and no longer be held back by me or anyone else.
I walked up to her door and yelled so she wouldn't hear the pain in my voice
"YOU'RE RIGHT! IM GLAD YOU FINALLY REALIZED ALL YOU DO IS HOLD ME BACK! YOU THINK YOU'RE BETTER THAN ME BUT NEWSFLASH NO ONE IS GOING TO LOVE YOU AND YOUR BODY! So don't expect them to. I'm going to find a new partner. I hate you"
Her door opened and her huge eyes were staring into mine with tears falling freely.

Maka pov

"YOU'RE RIGHT! IM GLAD YOU FINALLY REALIZED ALL YOU DO IS HOLD ME BACK! YOU THINK YOU'RE BETTER THAN ME BUT NEWSFLASH NO ONE IS GOING TO LOVE YOU AND YOUR BODY! So don't expect them to. I'm going to find a new partner. I hate you"
This is the worst feeling ever. Total betrayal by the one I love most.
I open my door and stare into Souls eyes all I see is an emotion I can't decipher. He's but a wall up around his soul. I just stand there...
"Fine. I'll back up and leave. You won't ever see me again Mr.Evans, I am sorry to have wasted your time." And slam my door closed. Sobs take me over again.
