we arrived at the air port, i was so scared, i was clutching mom and didnt let go until we hit security.
"well honey i guess this is goodbye for now" mom said , i saw a tear spill from her eye.
"yeah mom i'm really gonna miss you" i mumbled
"i know we had our ups and downs but i will always love you" she said kissing my forehead
"at least there's skype" mom said
"yeah i know, but it wont be the same" i said
"i promise you, i will send you updates on my chemotherapy and stuff" she replied "at least it wont be forever"
we both knew that this was goodbye forever, i think all of us knew.
"well we best get going" andy said
what the hell, i wanted to enjoy these last few moments with my mom i didnt want him to take me away
"im sure andy will be a great dad" she said "make sure you call when you reach"
she handed me a locket before i left, that i clutched tightly as we walked to security. this was the start of my new life.
