Chapter Nine

After our quiet time, Bill decided we should test the raft. It looked alright just hope it could hold all the weight!

"On three", Bill commanded to Cole and Tran

"One, two, three" he said as we all pushed the raft onto the river

"It works babe", I said with a smile relieved that we can actually get out of here now

"Alright", Sam said happily. We pulled the ropes so that the raft stayed close to us. Once we kept it still, we began loading everything that we had onto the raft. Jack comes over an starts loading his things

"Where's Mitchell?", Gail asked him

"He's resting his feet!", he answered without looking

"Should I go get him?", she asked

"No, no let him rest until we get everything loaded"

"Okay", she said turning back to what she was doing

"Those blisters are pretty nasty". He said still not looking up at them

As we finished load everything, Bill decided to spank my butt softly, I smacked him in the chest chuckling at him but stopped when Sam ran towards us but faced Jack

"What did you do to him Jack", Sam asked forcefully

"What's wrong Sam?", I asked her with confusion

" somethings wrong with Mitchell". She said still glaring at Jack

" what are you talking about?" Jack asked looking a bit out of character if you asked me!

" you were in there alone with him. What did you do?", she asked with a deep glare. Bill pulled me behind him getting into his protective mode.

" he was resting his feet... I didn't do anything", Jack said and I saw him put a hand behind his back as if to grab something. Before I could say anything Kong began screeching. We all turned to the noise to see Mitchell's feet dangling from the Hut

"Shit!", Bill said as we ran to the Hut. By the time we got there, Mitchell was being swallowed whole by an anaconda. Just then Gail and I started to scream, but she ran towards it but Tran and I stopped her

"GO GET HER OUT OF HERE. TRAN TAKE KYLIE TO", Bill shouted

"No! No! No!", Gail kept screaming
I looked back to see Bill burning down the Hut with the Anaconda still inside. We ran back to where the raft was suppose to be only to see Jack on it and half way down the river

"THE RAFT!" Tran shouted. At this pointed I wanted to give up, there was no end to this nightmare!

"NO! YOU SON OF A BITCH", Cole screamed out

"We can build another one", Sam said as she was out of breath

" WITH WHAT SAM! WITH WHAT", Cole yelled at her motioning to the burning wood in the Hut. I fell to my knees as tears trickled down my cheeks. Bill kneeled beside me rubbing my back

"We got to get that raft it's our only way out of here", Bill said trying to calm everyone down. But I couldn't listen tryna figure out a different plan or something.

"FYI BILL! THE RAFT IS GONE!", Cole shouted

"We can get it back", I said catching everyone's attention

"How? huh? What are we gonna do swim after it now!?" Cole said snapping hysterically

"Watch it!" Bill said intimidating him, then looking at me," How baby?", he asked
