"Oh my God! I'm going to be late!" you gasped when you glanced at your wrist watch before anxiously looked at the traffic outside the taxi cab.

You clasped your hands together to prevent them from trembling while your foot unconsciously keeps on tapping on the floor.

"Mister taxi driver, what's taking this traffic so long?" I asked the driver. He glanced at me using the rear-view mirror.

"I think there's some kind of accident up front." he said lazily as he taps his fingers on the steering wheel. You plumped back at your seat and sighed heavily.

You were already thinking of where you'd get a new job because this is probably your last day because your boss is very strict when it comes to late employees. The last time was when an employee was late for only five minutes and he was immediately terminated.

After ten more minutes you were now in front of the office building. You glanced at the building itself. It has fifty floors in total. Glass panes almost served as the walls of the whole building which made it so blinding every time the rays from the sun hits. Employees coming in and out front doors of the building which was also made of glass. You saw how the doors automatically opens every time an employee goes in or out.

You made one last glance at your watch before walking towards the front door.

You were greeted by a smiling woman in the front desk. It was Mrs. Soo.

"Good morning Y/N. You're running late than usual, it was because of the traffic right?" She asked, handling me some papers.

"It was really unusual having heavy traffic today, since it never happened before." you said, taking the papers. "May I ask, is the boss already here?

"Lucky you, he's still not here which is also very unusual but still, you better get going." You sighed in relief and nodded at Mrs. Soo before going to the elevator with some employees.

"Hey, did you hear? There was a car accident which was the cause of that darn traffic." An employee whispered to his friend. You were just behind them making you unintentionally eavesdropped.

"Yeah. I heard it was an employee working in this office." His friend replied.

You heard a ding then the doors opened. As the elevator ascends, the fewer the employees were inside until you were left alone. One last ding and the doors opening you finally walked out the elevator then smiling at the lift man as the door closes.

You sighed deeply, holding the papers closely at your chest. You walked towards your table, the only table on that wide floor and a frosted glass door beside it. You placed the papers on the table and turned on your computer before glancing at the door beside your table.

You noticed that the lights was still off, it means your boss didn't arrived yet so you fixed your table before focusing on doing your job.

You heard a very familiar sound of an elevator ding. You automatically stood up then tugged down your skirt which was lifted a little from sitting. You also fixed your glasses that was slipping out your nose. A bright smile plastered on your face.

Your smile immediately disappeared and replaced with a worried look as a familiar man entered your field of vision. His expensive office suit has cuts and torns, his always perfect shaved up hair was now all over the place and some cuts and bruises was visible in his face. In short, he looked like he was caught up in a storm or has been raped.

"Mr. Kim! What happened to you? Are you alright sir?" You asked not leaving your place. He just shrugged and then entered his office without even giving you a single glance. You sat back on your chair and breathed out like you were holding your breath for a while.
