spoilers, but like, don't read this if you haven't read the whole fic lol (tw)
why did you kill jade?
- it's really important to publicise how love doesn't necessarily 'cure' any type of mental illness. falling in love cannot magically heal someone.why did jade feel suicidal?
- jade was bullied a lot throughout her entire childhood, as mentioned in a couple of the letters. it didn't seem like it, even at the end, because signs of suicidal thoughts are not always obvious. if anyone ever mentions anything concerning, you should always try to talk to them and make sure there isn't a deeper meaning behind their words.did you mean to romanticise jade's death?
- her death wasn't romanticised. the way the story ended was beautifully romantic because the way perrie reacted shows that relationships can impact you for life, even if they were only short, and that suicide impacts others around you for eternity. it wasn't supposed to be romanticisation, it was a representation of perries infinite grieving.feel free to comment any other questions you have and i will do my best to answer them!!
