We used the Floo powder to get to Diagon Alley first it was me because Malfoy and Ron insisted on ladies first and Harry, Rachel, and Hermione didn't know how to use it and mum wanted to go last. After I got there it was then Hermione, Rachel, Malfoy, then Ron came behind laughing.
"Harry said the wrong thing so your mum went to go find him." I snickered. Of course, Harry got lost. We went and gathered our materials and we later found mum and Harry and he had broken glasses.
Hermione went up to him, "Of course you've shattered them." She put her want to his glasses. "Oculus reparo." And just like that, they were good as new.
I went to Quality Quidditch Supplies with Ronald and looked at all of the beautiful broomsticks. "Harry has the Nimbus 2000 but I don't know if mum could afford the Nimbus 2001 I want something amazing Ron something that says "you're going to professionally play Quidditch one day."
"London," My mother chirped behind me "I'm sorry darling but if you don't want you and Harry to have the same broom the best I can do is the Comet 260."
"But Mum the Comet 260 is a joke when you know next year there's going to be an even better broom."
She gave me that look that mothers give. You know. THAT look. "Well, Little London would you like to skip out on Quidditch this year because you don't have a broom at all?"
I shook my head VERY quickly. "No ma'am I'll take a Nimbus 2000." She smiled and purchased the broom for me. This was my broom. Mine.
After getting everything we went home and I went to my room and I searched around. I found something sharp and used it to carve a star into my broom. I looked at my mini broom and held it to me. Despite not knowing much I know this tiny broom will mean more to me than any other broom I ever receive. I hung it on my wall so it was on display. The Nimbus 2000 will always just be my second broom compared to that tiny beauty
But for now, it was time to rest and ready myself for tomorrow.
