Today was going to be pretty eventful. Can you guess why? It's Valentine's Day. A day that you dreaded, because you did have a special someone you wanted to give chocolates to, but your were always too nervous and chickened out at the last second.

Another reason you didn't exactly like the day, was because of all the fuss the girls would make when they tried to give their chocolates to either Ruka or Natsume. You were not one to like much noise.

"Hey (Name)!" A cheerful voice brought you out of your thoughts.

Turning around, you found Mikan running towards you. The cheerful girl tried to catch her breath as she came to a stop in front of you.

"Yo Mikan. What's up?" You asked, a small smile on your face.

"Well, I was wondering if you were giving chocolate to anyone." She mused, a huge grin on her face.

"Um, m-maybe." You replied, looking away with a blush on your face.

A mischievous glint appeared in Mikan's eyes. "I bet I know who."

"I bet you don't."

Stepping towards you, she whispered a name in your ear. You jumped away from her and ran in the other direction. Covering your ears, you tried to hold in the major blush spreading across your cheeks. Liar. I am not giving chocolates to him.

You panted as you made it to a field that was somewhere around the middle school branch. Your (h/l) (h/c) locks billowing in the light breeze. It wasn't the right thing to do, because you were apparently skipping class, but you wouldn't be able to face Mikan after the reaction you let out in front of her. She definitely would know now that you like him.

"Idiot, what're you doing out here?" A stoic voice spoke behind you.

Jumping in surprise, you turned around only to be met face-to-face with Natsume himself. His emotionless expression told you he was most likely annoyed today. Well, more like he was that way everyday.

"Don't call me an idiot. Besides, what does it matter to you?" You questioned, trying to keep a cold front jus like him, but you were crumbling after what Mikan told you.

"Whatever." He responded, before walking away.

Huffing, you walked back to the classroom, despite feeling a bit nervous for what Mikan would say. Your hand was patting a spot in your pocket that held a little box that had a little piece of chocolate.

Making it to class, you quickly went to your seat and sat down, ignoring Jinno-sensei's glare. Your seat happened to be right next to Mikan and she immediately smiled at you.

"Where were you?" She asked, not bothering to tease you more about your crush.

"Nowhere. Now just pay attention to class. I don't feel like getting into anymore trouble than I already am in." You responded, before looking towards the front of the room.

~TimeSkip brought to you by a flame~

You were making your way back towards that field by the middle school branch. The first time you wandered there, was the day that you came to the school. Your alice was a rare one; the ability to sense strong emotions. Okay, it may not sound as rare, but it was the alice that you had.

Sighing, you sat under a tree, putting your hand into your pocket and pulling out the little Valentine's box. I couldn't give it to him... again.

"You're here again. Idiot." That same stoic voice cut through the air.

Looking up, you stared at the boy in front of you; Natsume again.

"How do I keep running into you?" You breathed out.

Surprising you, he sat down next to you under the sakura tree. Blushing heavily, you turned away from him, tightening your grip on the box.

"What's that in your hand?" He asked, snatching the box from your hand.

You tried to turn even more away from him.

"You actually participate in this stupid holiday? Tch."

Sweat dripped down your forehead as you fought to hold in the tears.

"Who were you planning on giving this to?" Natsume inquired.

Hesitating, you decided it was now or never to tell the raven-haired boy how you felt.

"Y-you." You muttered, barely louder than a whisper.

"Hn..." He trailed off before forcefully turning you around. Staring you in the eyes, he muttered, "Baka."

Without a second thought, he pushed his lips onto yours in a sweet kiss. When you thought of this moment, you imagined his lips would be rough, but that wasn't it at all. Closing your eyes, you kissed back.

Soon you both had to pull back for air. Looking you over one more time, he allowed a small smile to appear on his face.

"I like you too."
