If there is one thing I love about being Arab it's the food. The food is AMAZING! Every country has their own special dish. I know not everyone likes our food but in my opinion it tastes incredible (well let's be honest, you got to have a dish you don't like). I can literally list sooo many I like!
When it comes to Algerian food it differs from like Palestinian and Syrian (or any other country) food. We don't usually cook rice and we don't cook things like kebab (which I love) or mashawy. Couscous is a very popular dish in Algeria (as well as Tunisia and Morocco), it is also a tradition for some families to eat it every Friday. I'm not the biggest fan of it since I eat it ALL the time. I don't know how to explain it, it's like rice but much, much smaller and tastes a lot more different. We usually cook it wit vegetables and meat.
If you haven't tried our food you definitely should. It's worth a try anyways!
