We sat down and he showed the huge bowl of cassarole for me and I smiled. The smell alone made my mouth water.
He took out a a spoon ful and put it on my plate
I take a bite and give a goofy grin."Mmm! What is this!?"
"Deep friend people with a side of people fries" He said making me scared.
"I'm just joking" He laughed.
You better be" I mumbled than continued eating."I am" He said and sits down getting some on his own plate. "So...how did you and Cassandra meet?" I asked before getting a drink.
"We...meet at a beach...she was in the water and I saw her...she looked scared"He said his eyes move to the floor.
"Why?" I asked as his eyes moved up" Because she being hunted." He said than heard the door slam shut as Cassandra barged in"How dare she!" Cassandra yelled."What?" Ajax asked standing up.
I start to feel awkward
"Molly she had the nerve to ask if I wanna go hunt humans than when i say no she acts like I'm soft! How dare she!'' Cassandra yelled."Calm down It's just a Nagas instinct to do that it doesn't mean you have to" he said holding her hand.
Naga?
"I hate it! Why does she keep trying to make me hunt just because my dad would destroy-" "It's ok Cassandra just tell her your kind don't hurt humans like that" Ajax said pulling her into a hug.
I was so confused
Ajax looked over at me mouthing 'Sorry' as I nod saying 'It's Fine'
Cassandra pushed him off. "I hate her!" She yelled "No you don't Boo your just upset" He said holding her arms"Yes I do! I hate everyone!" She yelled trying to pull from his grasps"STOP IT!"Ajax yelled mad glaring at her.
"Stop it before you make us both angry and hurt people" He said glaring. She moved from his grasps and barged upstairs leaving Ajax and me alone.
Great....
He put a hand to his face taking deep breathes. "Ajax...would you like me to talk to her?"I asked slowly standing up.
"I can't let you she may hurt you and I can't risk it" He said. "I'll be ok I promise" I smiled than head upstairs
I heard him give a small sigh of relief making me smile and head upstairs.
