Save and Protect (Book 1)

Chapter 3

We banged through the gate forcing it to open and we drove in then stopped. Sam and Mikaela slowly got out of Bumblebee. They looked around curiously as wondering why we stopped here. I pulled up next to them and said, "Don't worry. We didn't come here for now reason. Just look up at the sky. You'll see what I mean."

(3rd's p.o.v.)

Five metal asteroids land in five different locations. One lands near where Sam, Mikaela, Zorya and Bumblebee are. Another crashes into the pool of someone's house. Another crashes by the highway. Another crashes near a car dealership. And the last one crashes near a lake. Each one opens. A little girl walks up to the one coming out of the pool.
"Excuse me are you the Tooth Fairy?" she asks before her parents come running to check on her. The large robot becomes a copy of the Topkick before driving off.
The one that crashed into the building becomes an ambulance and drives off to the meeting point. The one who crashed near the car dealership scans a Porsche. The fourth one by the highway becomes a blue and red-flamed Peterbuilt semi. One large metal being came out of it's pod and transforms into a large metal dragon before taking flight to the meeting point.

(Zorya's p.o.v.)
(In a empty alley way)

We arrived where the bots should meet us and stopped at the middle of the alley. I then transformed to bot mode as Sam and Mikaela got out slowly as they saw a semi truck driving towards us with awe. Then we saw the other Autobots pull in from behind us with one of them sounding a short siren sound. We then turned back to where the semi was driving towards us and a large metal dragon lands right beside it as the truck stops right in front of Sam and Mikaela. Then the two slowly start transforming to bot mode and I cross my arms as I give a smile. Then the others followed by transforming too as Sam and Mikaela watched with awe seeing them transform. Once I turned my attention back to the two, I said still smiling, "Optimus, Nightwing, good to see you again." Nightwing did a double take before she grinned and said before hugging me, "Zorya! You're here!" My eyes widen in surprise before smiling again and hugged back, feeling glad to see my best friend and student again. We then pulled away and Optimus walked up to me and said with a warm smile, "Zorya, it is good to see you again." Then he grabbed my hand and kissed it gently in a gentlemen way. I gave a light blush as he did and he notices everyone staring from behind me and clears his throat, feeling a bit embarrassed before he and Nightwing kneel to get on Sam's level. Then Optimus said as his face is close up to Sam, "Are you Samuel James Witwicky, descendent of Archibald Witwicky?" Sam leans a bit closer making Optimus to lean back a little with a frown. Mikaela then said to Sam amazed, "They know your name." Sam just stared at him with the same look before answering, "Yeah." "My name is Optimus Prime.", Optimus said. Then Nightwing said introducing herself next, "My name is Nightwing Prime. We are autonomous robotic organisms from the planet Cybertron." I then said getting into the conversation plus making Ratchet nod in agreement at what I said, "But you can call us Autobots for short." "Autobots.", Sam repeated, trying the word out. Jazz then said to the humans, "What's cracking, little bitches?" Optimus then said as Jazz made a flip and pose, "My first lieutenant. Designation, Jazz." "This looks like a cool place to kick it.", Jazz said before sitting on an old car with his arms crossed. I rolled my optics and shook my helm with a smile of amusement as Sam asked making Optimus sit up a little, "What is that? How did he learn to talk like that?" Optimus answered, "We've learned Earth's languages through the World Wide Web." Nightwing then said introducing Ironhide as he moved his fingers like he is ready for something, "Our weapons specialist, Ironhide." Ironhide spins his big cannons and points them towards Sam and Mikaela with a smirk saying, "You feeling lucky, punk?" I chuckled a little bit seeing Sam gulp at the large cannons before saying to him, "Easy, Ironhide." "Just kidding. I just wanted to show him my cannons.", Ironhide says with a smile looking at his cannons before looking back at me. I nod with a smile back knowing he was just kidding. Optimus then said introducing Ratchet, who sniffed in the air, "Our medical officer, Ratchet." Ratchet then said before looking towards Optimus, "The boy's pheromone levels suggests he wants to mate with the female." I then said with a smirk as the two looked away from each other in embarrassment and the awkward tension in the air, "Easy Tiger. Don't want to scare her." Making the Autobots except for Optimus to start snickering before Sam said to me with a look, "Not funny Zorya!" I raised my hands up in defense saying, "Take it easy there, Sam. I was just messing with ya." But, Ratchet then said, "Optimus, are you feeling alright? Your pheromone levels are high towards Zorya as well." Optimus's cooling fans quickly come on as he looked so embarrassed. "Get a berthroom you two!", Nightwing said with a smirk. I blushed a bright blue and then wacked Nightwing at the back of her helm making her yelp a little in pain. Optimus, who wanted the embarrassing moment to be gone said to Sam, "You already know your guardian, Bumblebee." Bee started doing boxing motions as Sam asked Optimus to be sure that is his name, "Bumblebee, right?" "...Check on the rep Yep, second to none...", Bee said right before he before he stopped the boxing moves. Sam turns to him and asked, "So, you're my guardian, huh?" Bee nods yes and Ratchet said as he shoots a red laser to Bee's throat area, "His vocal processors were damaged in battle. I'm still working on them." Mikaela looks back at Optimus and Nightwing before asking, "Why are you here?" "We are here looking for the Allspark." he said and Nightwing agreed, "And we must find it before Megatron." "Mega-what?" Sam asks. Optimus taps his helm and shows them our war-torn world. "Our planet was once a powerful empire, peaceful and just." Nightwing said and Optimus agrees, "Until we were betrayed by Megatron, leader of the Decepticons. All who defied them were destroyed and the Allspark was lost to the stars. Megatron followed it to earth, where Captain Witwicky found him." Optimus says. "My Grandfather." Sam says softly and Nightwing nods before she said, "It was an accident that intertwined our fates." "Megatron crashed landed before he could retrieve the Cube." Optimus said and Nightwing added, "Your Grandfather accidentally activated his navigation system." I say, "The coordinates to the Cube's location on Earth were imprinted on his glasses." "How'd you know about his glasses?", Sam asked looking at me curiously. I simply answered, "eBay." Sam then repeated the word looking at Mikaela, "eBay." Then Ratchet said making Sam turn to him, "If the Decepticons find the Allspark, they will use its power to transform Earth's machines. They would capture Zorya as well and have her help them to build a new army." "They aren't getting her if we can help it!", Sam said with a determined look. Then Mikaela said in agreement, "That's right!" I smiled to their courage of helping to protect me from the cons. Optimus then continued on the conversation, "And the human race will be extinguished. Sam Witwicky, you hold the key to Earth's survival." After a second of staring at him, Mikaela said turning to Sam, "Please tell me that you have those glasses." I stepped towards them a little saying, "Don't worry, he does. We just need to get to his home to retrieve them. Which reminds me, I still promised that I would explain everything why I haven't told you I was a Cybertronian. " They nodded and I transformed to my vehicle form then the two got in while the Autobots transformed too. Then we drove off.
