I was woken by the sound of loud snoring coming from the old sweaty guy sitting next to me, but I guess it was just in time because we had 5 minutes before landing. Just thinking about leaving my old life behind was kind of exhilarating, I could just start over. I didn't have to worry about everyone knowing everything about me I just could be me.
Finally after me being lost in thought the plane landed which jolted me in my seat. I was around the last person to finally get off the plane to grab my one bag, filled with barely anything. I called a cab and told the extremely high driver to take me to the closest hotel. That would be my best bet for the night until I can go into town and find a nice apartment or little house in the morning. The hotel was small, along with the rest of the neighborhood. Just a few small houses, a couple of stores, and it was right next to the ocean. I absolutely loved it, just looking around I easily found a small ice cream shop with the "help wanted" sign on the front. I decided after I checked in the hotel and set down my bags in the very cramped room, that I'd go for a look and check it out.
As soon as I walked in the door to the shop, a nice lady automatically greeted me with this huge smile on her face.
"Hello, welcome to greenstein ice cream shop, what can I help you with", she said a little to excited for my liking.
"Well I just came into town and I saw the help wanted and was wondering if I can apply for a job?", I said in a shy manner.
"Well of course you can! The more help we have around here the better, just go into the back room and my son should be able to interview you" she said pointing to the wooden door that was in the back of the store.
"Oh thanks" I said almost confused she would give me an interview that fast, I guess they were really desperate for workers. I headed past all the small tables to the back room and quietly knocked on the door,
"Hi my name is selena, um your mom said you can give me an interview" I said as I slowly opened the door. As soon as I walked in there was a young man who looked around my age sitting at a wooden desk behind a window where the light was hitting the left side of his face. God there was not a doubt in my mind that he wasn't drop dead gorgeous, but I had to remain professional. He came up to me with the biggest smile on his face as he said
"Hi, my name is Seth, how can I help you?"
