Chapter 30: Beach Challenge

I am so sorry I haven't uploaded in like 30 years! Well it wasn't that long but it seems like it. I had exams and the concert. I am uploading now though! :) I hope you guys enjoyed my little story from Chicago! I want to dedicate this chapter to the amazing people who made my time there amazing! :) So this chapter is dedicated to: Paxton (@FanForeva) Maddy (@PhenomonNiall) Ella, Selina, and Mary :) And to all the lovely girls I met at the signing and the concert. Maighlin's POV

I woke up around 5 a.m. to go decorate the gazebo with Alyssa, Charlotte, and Sydney.  We hung tule and a banner. We put candles and tinsel everywhere.  We set the table up and put a silver tablecloth down. Niall said he would set the table later.  The gazebo looked fabulous. I know Emmaleigh will love what's in store for her. 

Niall's POV

The girls have only been gone for about 20 minutes and Emmaleigh is starting to wonder where they went so I decide to take her down to the lake to skip rocks.  She doesn't get suspicious lukcily.  We stay by the lake until I see the girls arrive at the campsite. We return shortly after for breakfast.  I'm starting to wonder what the girls have planned for today. 

Emmaleigh's POV

After Niall took me down by the lake to skip rocks we returned to find everyone was awake now and the rest of the girls were back. 

"Happy Birthday Emmaleigh!!!!" everyone shouted. 

I blushed as my friends sang Happy birthday.  I love my friends they spoil me so much.  We all ate some granola bars for breakfast and started talking about the plans for the day. 

We all decided to hit  the lake and do some swimming, beach volleyball, and then there was one last thing that everyone seemed to be hiding from me.  Whatever it's my birthday who knows what will happen.

We get to the beach and all of a sudden Maighlin starts passing out sheets of paper and beach baskets.  I was trying to figure it out until I recieved my own.  The paper read:

Sweet 16 Challenge!  

The basket will be needed later so do not lose it :) After picking a partner to be with you as a team here's what you have to do:

1. Find a random person to join us in a game of beach volleyball.

2. You can only act out what you are saying. (No cheating (;)

3. Meet on the volleyball court when done.

4. Further instructions will be given. 

I quickly grabbed Niall as my partner and dragged him down the beach until we found a group of girls.  I started to act out volleyball and Niall tried to help. Finally one of the girls understood and agreed to play.  We ran back to the rest and they all had their own random person.

Maighlin's POV

I then said, "Alright everyone. We are going to play 3 matches to 25 and whoever wins the most gets a 2 min. headstart on the next list. Niall and Liam's teams join to form one. Zayn and Louis' teams join. I will be sitting out as I am the director of this hunt. Harry will join Niall's team and Ashley (the random girl) will join Zayn's.  Everyone understand?" Everyone nodded and we begun our volleyball matches. Niall and Liam were in the lead for a while but then Zayn and Louis came back to make the game a tie until Liam made a good spike. First match went to Niall and Liam.  The next game went to Zayn and Louis. This next game would decide who gets to see the list first and get a head start.  It was neck and neck the whole game until Niall did one of his gravity defying jumps and hit the ball down on the other side winning the game! Emmaleigh and the rest of the team cheered and I got the next list out as they thanked the random people for playing.  I handed out the list to the winning teams and it read:
