Katie POV
this morning I woke up to no pranks what so ever. Weird but I heard the Apollo cabin got hit when I went to breakfast. After I go to the arena and hack some dummies. I notice people come in then I here a scream " TRAVIS" who was that. I run out and see Ppl gathering at the borders Connor pushing through. I run and push past and gasp and rush to help.

Connor POV
I hear screaming then I hear a " TRAVIS" I run and push past them all to see him lying on the ground with a gash across his chest gold dust over him. " no no no" I pick him up with the help of someone who I didn't glance at. He's put in the infirmary. I sit in the waiting room resting on Miranda's shoulder. She hugs me and I notice some one else here, Katie. " katie what are you doing here" I ask, but it came out quite rudely. " well seeing as I was the one who helped you I wanted to know if he's alive or not" she replys. " I have one question though, why is Travis so broken, today I woke up to no pranks and I'm confused" she asks, I glance at Miranda " I uh I can't tell you that I'm sorry but I promised Travis " I stutter and she huffs wiping tears from her eyes. Then Austin comes in, I jump up " is he ok!? Is he dead?" I start " shhh he's fine the gash wasn't to deep but he'll need to stay in the infirmary for a bit you can visit him" he finishes but I've already pushed past him. I walk in " Hey Trav, hows the gash?" I ask " it's ow ok" and he puts on a goofy grin but it drops when Miranda and Katie come in. I look at Katie, relief spreads through her eyes she looks like she could kiss him. I put an arm around Mir. " glad your ok mate " I grin. And he looks exhausted " ok well um we should go do you can get some rest" and I leave with Mir not knowing where Katie is.

Travis POV
After they left I notice Katie's still here, " Katie?" I whisper to tired to talk. " yes Travis?" " thank you for helping me I know it was you and Connor" I thank her and drift off feeling and hand on mine.

— Time skippie —

I wake up and feel and hand on mine I notice Katie had grabbed it but she's asleep. I smile at it a real smile, maybe she doesn't hate me. But she slowly awakens and I pretend to be asleep. " oh thanks gods he didnt see that" and she let's go of my hand. " it's all my fault, I never should've-" she get cut off by Austin who's come in " Katie you were ment to leave an hour ago" " oh sorry lost track of time, I'll go now" and she squeezes my hand and walks off. " Travis wake up" I slowly sit up " ok now take some abrosia and some nectar then you can rest again" Austin's demands kindly. So I take the med and lay back down falling asleep once more.

I wake up yet again but this time I'm free to go so I try walking and I'm ok so I leave the crutches and go to the beach. I notice it's morning wow I've sleeping for ages. I check my monster proof watch an Hephaestus kid made me 8:00 nearly breakfast I better head over. I walk in and everyone stares, I smirk " I'm not a zombie Nico summoned so nod off" I crack and smile. People look relieved, and I sit down next to Connor, " look who's back" Connor grinned. " yep I'm back".
I slowly eat still feeling a bit out of it, so after I ate I go to the arena and watch because I don't think I can fight quite yet. I watch Katie walk in and start battling Lou Ellen, I silently cheer for her in my head. Katie wins, and I smile and get up. I go the the archery rink and start to practice, the pain in my chest is throbbing a little but I'll be fine I shoot my first target, bullseye. I see at the corner of my eye Katie watching me, I smirk again and Katie goes to the one next to me. " Katie Kat your doing it wrong" I state and she huffs " then how do I do it then Mr Know-it-all" she sasses. " well first the bow is the wrong way right now" I start and she blushes the I put my arms around her to position it and she blushes even more if possible. I help her then she shoots the arrow .... bullseye " told you so" I mutter playfully. " oh shove off" she laughs and I get a pain in my chest so I rub it. I sit down. " Trav are you ok" she helps me sit straight. Wait she called me Trav usually only Connor calls me Trav. I blush at she puts a hand on my chest and back to support me. " hey you give me some Ambrosia" she shouts and a random. " thanks" I say as I eat it.
