The Spell

The Table

Instead of sitting at the jock table I sat at my table and started reading. Then all of a sudden I hear a voice that startles me.
"Hey, love. I told you to come sit with me."said JD while sitting down.
"Go away, Jayden." I said rather bluntly.
"No. I need to talk to you." he said pulling the book away from my face.
"What do you want?" I said with a sigh.
Just then Hunter approaches.
"Hey bro people are making fun of you for sitting with......her." he said making hand gestures toward me.
"You do notice I'm sitting RIGHT HERE! Right, Hunter?" I say with a little annoyance and edge to my voice.
"I do." he said looking at me like I'm a puddle of barf.
I roll my eyes, and Hunter storms off.
"Don't let her rub off on you, Jayden!" he yells while running back to the jocks.
"Go! You heard him people are making fun of you!" I said fighting back a lump in my throat like the day before.               "I...... I'm sorry." he said while getting up and walking away.
Just then I felt my stomach churn, and I ran to the bathroom. I was too late. After taking care of what I had too I sat on the bathroom floor and started crying. Just then I hear a knock on the door.
I quickly dry my tears and bluntly asked,"Who is it and what do you want?"
"I need to use the bathroom." said a familiar voice.
Could I be hearing things? I opened the door and sure enough I seen Sera and Anya standing right there.
"Let's get outta here" said Anya.
"Let's." I said hopping on Sera's back excitedly.
Before I knew it we were at my house and my phone dings with a notification.
'Are you ok? I seen you run to the bathroom after I left the table.
Jayden'
"Who was that" Anya asked with a smirk on her face.
"Oh that....that.....that was......no one....don't worry about it."
I got another text.
'I'm worried about you. I'm coming over.
Jayden'
Just then I hear a knock at the door.
"Do you want me to get it?" Anya asks walking into my room.
"No I'll get it, but thanks anyway"
When I open the door it was......
