I wake up the next morning to a ding. Before I can check my phone Sapphire throws my door open.
"Oh your already awake." she said an innocent smile coming to her face.
"Come on get dressed." she says throwing a red shirt and black pants, the shirt being a little see through.
"Why where are we going?" I ask sitting up on the bed.
"Training." she says.
"Now hurry go take a shower while I wash this." she says picking up my leather jacket.
"No! Don't!" I yell, but it was too late, the picture of my dad fell out of my pocket, followed by the picture of Jayden and I.
"Who is this?" she asks picking up the picture of my dad.
"That's......... that's my dad." I say tears streaming down my face.
"Why are you crying?"
"Because......he........he died a week before my birth."
"Oh I'm sorry I didn't know." she said with empathy in her voice.
"My mom killed him." I manage over the lump in my throat.
"........."
"Who's this?" she asked pointing at Jayden.
I could tell she was trying to change the subject.
"That's my boyfriend Jayden." I said while drying my tears.
" Is he a were?"
"No." I replied.
"Oh." she said sounding disappointed.
She cleared her throat.
"Anyway, go get in the shower." she said the empathy gone.
She threw the pictures on my bed and walked out carrying my jacket.
