"what happened?" Jayden asked concerned when Hunter walks out of the room.
"That was my mom."
"What? No it couldn't be!"
"Yes" I said with a sigh "it can be."
"No!"
"Let me explain"
"Go ahead"
"My dad died a week before I was born." I said with a sigh "My mom left after my birth."
"Oh. Wow. I'm sorry I didn't know."
"But come to find out my mom actually killed my dad." I said tears forming in my eyes.
He crawls into the bed. He puts his arm around me, and I fall asleep feeling safe and secure again.
