2: Suffer My Wrath!

"I want to train!" You say as Goku finishes his story.

"[Y/N]..."

"No, Goku! I've gone my whole life not knowing that I was a S-Saiyan..." You speak uncertainly. "I think I have the right to want to discover who I truly am!"

"One day. We will train, just not now... You need to stay hidden for a while. At least until everything is over. There's just someone looking for me... I want you safe. Unharmed."

"But... if I train I could help you!"

"[Y-Y/N]! No!" He stood up, "I will not train you until it is safe!"

"Whatever," you scowl as you cross your arms across your chest. "How long will it take?"

"Not very..." He looks around the room, avoiding eye contact with you. "Soon."

You sit back in your chair and look over at Krillin. "Are you a Saiyan?"

"Me? No," he smiled. "Just superhuman."

"I see," you look down at him. "That's pretty cool."

"Thank you," he blushed.

--- time skip; a couple weeks ---

You watch quietly from behind a rock as Goku confronted a man you could only assume to be another Saiyan as you noticed his tail flicking back and forth. Goku may not have been training you but you were studying every bit of information he had told you, and constantly asking questions about your race. You had learned that Saiyans were born with tails, and when you asked where yours was, Goku said that it must've been cut off by your adopted family.

You watched their fight intently as they continued on. You silently cheered for Goku as he threw punches, and kicked about. Your eyes widened in terror as the smaller man began to transform into a great ape. You tried your best not to let out a scream.

You continued to watch them battle. The ape slammed his fist down upon where Goku stood, quickly kicking him out of the air and to the ground. Your eyes followed Goku as he slid against the ground and right by the rock you were hiding behind.

"Goku!" You gasped. He grunted and moaned in pain. "Goku, Goku are you okay?" What a dumb question.

"[Y/N] what are you doing here? Go! Get out while you still can!" he spat out, blood sputtered out of his mouth.

"Who are you talking to, Kakarrot?" A booming voice echoed through the air. A beam of light came towards you and the rock you were hiding behind blew up. Ash and debris falling around you and Goku. "Oh, Kakarrot! Is this your wife?" the ape pointed down at you.

"I am not his wife, you... you... ape!" You cross your arms across your chest tightly.

"How dare you call Prince Vegeta an ape!" His tail came swinging right at you, Goku scooped you up and flew away before putting you down.

"Get. Out. Of. Here." He looked into your eyes.

"But Goku..."

"I'll be fine. We'll handle it. Just go. Find Chi-Chi and tell her I love her. And make sure to tell her we'll be home for dinner!" He chuckled.

You pull Goku into your arms tightly. "Just please don't die. Don't let anybody die... except that thing! I love you and I expect to see you again."

"I love you, too." Goku said. "You're one of my best friends, and a Saiyan sister. Family is forever. Don't worry abo-" a ki blast shot between the two of you. "Run!" Goku shouted.

You turned to run but the next thing you knew you were struck in the back with a ki blast. You flew across the ground and crashed into a wall of rocks. You lifted your head and noticed the pool of blood beginning to form around you. The next thing you saw was nothing but blackness.
