"What?!" Kenny and Toni yelled together. "That's right. She needs to get out of this house for a few. This mess is stressing out my grand baby." Mrs. Braxton replied wrapping Keisha into a tight embrace.
"Mommy you obviously haven't been told the whole story."
"I don't need to hear the whole story. You stood there and let him beat your child senseless. What kind of woman are you?" Kenny stepped up quickly. "She's a great woman and an excellent mother. Keisha is running around having sex and doing God know what with some little boy!"
"Sounds pretty damn familiar. Doesn't it Kenny and Toni." Mr. Braxton said shaking his head. He grabbed Keisha's bags and headed for the car.
Keisha couldn't even look at her parents as she walked with her grandmother.
"Bugga boo? Is this really what you want?" Keisha turned around to face her father. "Yes, just for now." Keisha replied causing Toni to fall to her knees and cry.

Kenny picked Toni up bridal style and carried her to their bedroom. Silence surrounded them as they held each other.
"Am I really a bad woman?" Kenny turned to Toni. He could see she was in a daze. "Of course not. We aren't wrong for disciplining our child."
A mood came over both of them as they had a stare down. The passionate feeling from at the pool still lingered in their minds. That feeling and the anger of what Keisha did mixed.
Clothes were being ripped off as they attacked each other. Both of them were in pain and needed some pleasure. It took half the night and most of the morning before they were finished.
_______________
Keisha stumbled down the stairs of her grandparents in a hurry. The smell of blueberry waffles, bacon and eggs filled the house. She was sad but she felt that overall she made the right decision."Good morning sunshine! Hurry up and eat we have to be at the church in a hour!" Mrs. Braxton said rushing out of the kitchen.
"But it's Saturday!" Keisha shoved the food into her mouth as she rushed to finish. She ran up the stairs so she could be ready.
"Babygirl I want you to be over her with the other teenagers. Y'all will be in charge of the book stand today." Mrs. Braxton walked off leaving Keisha with the familiar strangers.
Normally Keisha spent her Saturdays having fun with her friends, Austin or her parents. Church wasn't a big part of her life. Which she always found odd since her mom has been a PK her whole life.
Keisha pulled out her phone and started texting. She was so focused on it that she never saw her grandfather coming.
"Give me that contraption! This is a church event now help!" He walked off with her phone and placed it into his pocket. As the day went on Keisha was worked hard. She had never been bossed around so much in her life.
Keisha almost broke her leg getting out of the car as her grandparents car pulled into the driveway. She headed straight for the shower.
"Grandpa, can I have my cell phone back now?"
"Yes, you may. Now don't be up all night we have to be out of her by 7:20."
"In the morning?" Keisha was shocked and couldn't believe it. Who woke up that early on the weekend?"
"8 o'clock and 11 o'clock service. Then after that we have to deliver some dinners to a couple of people." Keisha nodded as she faked a smile.
"Little girl, if you don't get in here and take out this trash and wash those dishes!"
Keisha realized that living under her grandparents roof was not going to be an easy thing.
Hurry up! You won't be sleeping in church tomorrow morning. Lights go out at 8."
"8? That's very early. What about 10:30?"
"Keisha this is not a discussion. Unlike your parents house this home is a dictatorship, no democracy foolery. Now do as you're told." Keisha sighed as she finished her new chores.
"Girl this is some bullshit. I can't do anything over this bitch. I can't even get a bottle of water with hearing a quote from the Bible."
Keisha was in her bathroom sitting on the sink with the shower running. She whispered lowly into the phone as she covered her mouth.
"Your party is next week. Just stick this week out and then you'll be back home. Love ya girlie." Roxy and Keisha hung up and Keisha exited the bathroom.
"Phone." Keisha handed it over to her grandmother and got into bed. "Goodnight sunshine!"
