"I wonder who that can be at the door? Let's go see who's at the door." Toni said while bouncing little Kenny on her hip.

Toni opened the door to see Detective Hugh. She opened the door wider and let him come in.

"Sorry to disturb you but I have some information. Keisha was in Australia however we lost track of her."

"In Australia? Doing what?"

Detective Hugh sighed and looked off. Telling someone that their child was forced in sex trafficking and prostitution wasn't easy. "She was being pimped out by a guy. We believe he has some local connections here."

"So where is she now?"

"We don't know. The guy, Oscar Showers we believe to have been in charge isn't talking."

Soon after Detective Hugh left leaving Kenny and Toni alone to think. Kenny was walking back and forth making Toni anxious. He had something brewing in his mind but hadn't said anything yet.

"Are you sure the detective said the guy name was Oscar Showers?" Kenny turned to Toni and waited for her to respond. "Ken for the hundredth time, yes. He said Oscar Showers and they believe he has some local connections here."

"This can't be happening." Kenny walked off and emerged with his high school year book. Toni watched him as he searched diligently not saying a word.

"Do you remember this asshole?"

Toni stared at the photo not of  Oscar Showers but of the women's swim team. Toni looked over the photo quickly noticing her mother's familiar face. Then the name Opal Showers appeared.

"Opal Showers? I don't remember an Opal Showers, Ken."

"Yes you do. Think about it. Our 11th grade year you beat her record by like .5 seconds or something like that. She was new to the school, Tone you have to remember."

"Ken you're trying to tell me that a girl I don't even remember possibly had something to do with Keisha disappearing?"

"Possibly. But I think this person knows exactly what happened." Kenny pointed on the picture causing Toni to frown.

Toni and Kenny dropped off their son to Tamar. They were now in Toni's childhood home waiting for Evelyn to appear again. She had went to make some tea.

Toni was a nervous reck as she shook her leg repeatedly. Kenny placed his hand on her thigh hoping to calm her down but it didn't. It had been decades since Toni had been there and sat down. All those years of horror and pain were slowly coming back to Toni.

"Here we are. What's better than some nice hot tea while we chat?" Mrs. Braxton stated placing a tray down in the middle of the table.

"So what brings you two by? It must be important I haven't seen you two come here to talk in decades."

"Well I was looking through my old yearbook and saw a picture of the swim team. It brought back so many memories. I wanted to catch up with some of the girls, I was wondering did you still keep in contact with them."

"Oh yes the swim team. You girls were so good and talented. Too bad that discipline couldn't had stayed." Evelyn looked at Kenny and rolled her eyes, "But yes I have their numbers just let me go find them."

"You're so sneaky and clever. I was just going to come in and get straight to the point." Kenny mumbled making Toni chuckle. "Patience young grasshopper."

Mrs. Braxton appeared with a piece of paper with some phone numbers on it. "Here you go and Toni, I want you to know life goes on."

Toni looked at Mrs. Braxton oddly as she left with Kenny.

"So what do we do now?" Kenny asked Toni as he started up the vehicle. "We do some investigating."
