I took a deep breath as I looked into my closet for the billionth time in just the past ten minutes. My heels seemed to walk around like little monsters and I couldn't control them. My bathing suits were pretending to be models and I couldn't decide if they would look good on me. Hmm, I thought to myself, maybe the white one with rainbow polka-dots would be cute. It wasn't strapless so I wouldn't look desperate. And maybe a cover up would be ok too, I mean I can't just arrive at the beach with my bikini on and white with plastic diamond sandals could I? " Oh my god!!", I sighed in desperation. Should I just call Luca and tell him I couldn't go I the date with him because I was...I was uh...oh! I could tell him I was running around the pool and I tripped and hit my wrist..no my butt..no my.. Oh whatever. It was no use. My palms were sweaty and I only had forty-five minutes to get ready. I decided to call the sharpest knife in the drawer at this point.
"STACY!! Get out of my kitchen and come help me!!! What do you wear to a date on the beach in about forty-five minutes!???!!"
"OMG MEGS YOU DON'T HAVE TO SCREAM!", she said, clearly enjoying my dilemma with bikinis." Ok, let me have a look at this thing in a rectangular shape called a closet. It's filled with clothes of different sizes and colors!! Did you look in there?", she was very much enjoying this, and was flashing a sarcastic smirk at me.
" Yes I did, I looked in there for about 123,838,832,253,123,765,789,034 years but I cant find anything!!"
"Megan honey, it's still 2012... Do you need to see a doctor?"She asked, with a fake worry face.
" Yes actually, one doctor to help me find a new best friend and another one to help me find the perfect beach outfit!!" I whined, practically throwing a childish fit on my bed.
" Well, you don't need the a doctor to find a new BFF because you have the perfect one right here!", she paused to give a girly twirl and pointed at herself." And you just hired the perfect doctor for the wardrobe catastrophe!",she threw her hands in the float and came out with the white and rainbow polka-dot bikini I had though of earlier and took out some short denim shorts. The shorts reached about an inch and a half below my butt, so I approved. Next, she took out some flip-flops that where white with rainbow stripes. In the middle part where the toes parted, there was a big butterfly that was some sort of fake but heavy diamond.
"Go change and I'll do your makeup when you come out. This will look sexy but still goody goody so it's perfect!!" She took the clothes and shoved me into the bathroom.
"You know I would look some freaky monster if I didn't have you!!"
"Yes,yes I know but go change!!"
I hurried to my bathroom and changed. I felt comfortable and I thought I looked...pretty. I sighed in satisfaction and stepped out for Stacy to admire me.
"Talk about sexy and H-O-T!! Luca will practically cradle you in his arms if looks could get him high!!" She laughed a laugh that made me laugh as well.
"So come on!! Can you please do my makeup and do a fishtail braid? I think that will look really cute!!" she hurried over and got started," I'm so glad it's summer vacation!! And we all got to come to the Bahamas!! I would have refused to come if you guys weren't coming!! I love it here so much!!! Its nice and warm and well... Different."
