Always correcting someone

This is something that happens a lot in stories. Most of the time authors don't check over their next chapter because they want to either hurry up and finish it, don't really care, or are feeling rushed to post it. This of course causes mistakes in writing. Some people have autocorrect on and it changes the words.

People who notice these things don't always be kind to point it out. Some laugh about it and turn it into a joke and others feel the need to try and think they're better because they 'know' how to spell a certain word. I have never looked over my writing because I try to update as fast as I can so all my readers can be happy.

Of course I get lots of comments from some laughing at mistakes or rudely pointing them out. I don't fix them because I prefer to wait until I finish my books to go back and edit them. Some authors feel upset about these types of comments especially the ones where people tend to think they know everything about something and try to 'correct' or 'educate' the author.

I have been getting comments like these lately and it's highly annoying in my opinion because I do lots of research on characters I'm writing about or on certain things. So when someone thinks they know everything about something but haven't even tried to learn more about it it causes me to get irritated and sometimes reply a little rudely I'll admit.

It's best to be nice when trying to correct someone on a spelling mistake. If someone has already done that then you don't have to comment about it and happily continue reading the book. I am not trying to sound rude at all with this trust me and I'm sorry if I sound it.

If you think someone is wrong then you can nicely point that out as well unlike some people who rudely point things out causing the author to get embarrassed or upset sometimes angry. Not everyone likes to be corrected but some do. If an author asks to point out spelling mistakes go ahead but you should always be nice.

If they don't want you to or say that a they aren't good in a certain language they're writing in then you probably shouldn't say anything unless they want you to help them with what they did wrong. That's all I have to say on the whole correcting an author rant.

Once again thanks for listening and have a good night or day.
