We Met Again Levi x Reader Modern AU

Chapter Seven

I look down at my lap and sigh a little. It was a lot of information that I could barely handle. I might've looked calm and all on the outside, but my inside? Oh god, shit was going everywhere. How does Levi know this and not me? He can he remember? It's unfair! I want to remember! 

"(y/n)?" Levi asked, making me snap out of my thoughts. I look at him, on the edge of crying. "Why didn't anyone tell me this before now?" I say quietly, looking into his eyes. "Because we all started remembering around the age of 16.. so we thought it was a better idea just to.. let you remember." He said with a soft sigh, running his hand through my hair. "Then why didn't I remember..?" I say quietly, "I don't know.. I really don't." Levi said softly and kissed the top of my head. "You should rest.." He said and turned to walk out, turning off the lights in the bedroom. I sigh, nodding slightly and laid down slowly. I knew i wouldn't fall asleep, too much being on y mind, but decided it was worth a try. 

It'd been around two weeks since the accident, since i passed out, since i was told what i had been told. I slowly walk down through the living room and to the kitchen, ignoring whoever were there. Though, obviously, the person being in there didn't ignore me. I must've been spaced out, because before i knew it, Levi stood in front of me, snapping his fingers. "Hey, are you even listening to me?" He asked with a raised eyebrow. I just sigh and shake my head. "Sorry.. sorry.. I spaced out.." I mumble, going back to making myself a sandwich. Having not properly eaten for a period of time had really taken it's token on me. It might've just been two weeks, but it showed i had lost a bit of weight. It had been pointed out several times, but I had only responded with "I'll eat in a little", though in the end, i hadn't eaten. But that's off topic, isn't it..?

"You've been spacing out a lot lately.." He mumbled. It was true, Levi knew that and i knew that. You see, the older had been staying in our house for the last couple of weeks, mostly to look after me while Eren had to study for important exams with Mikasa and Armin. He slept in the guest bedroom while while i, for a couple of days, slept in my own bedroom. That changed after a couple of days, as said,  when I asked if it was okay for me t sleep in the guest bedroom with him. He didn't mind, and i've slept there since. "Sorry.. I've got a lot to think about, then it's the nightmares I told you about.. and Eren's not at home and I'm worried for him and.." I sigh, leaning my head on Levi's chest.
