anon: It's not Christmas but, Hanukkah begins on Dec.12th this year so I was hoping you could possibly do a Kyle x reader imagine where the reader really likes him, but aren't Jewish, but get him a gift for Hanukkah to show him they like him? :)
"What am I going to do?"
"Just ask him if wants to do something for Hanukkah?" Stan said as he threw the ball to me. We were currently playing catch in front of his house. "I don't even know anything about Hanukkah" I said as I caught the ball. "Ask him" I looked at Stan with an annoyed look and threw the ball as hard as I can. "You know how I get when I talk to him."
"K-kyle, I was wondering" Stan started to stutter as he was trying to imitate how I would talk to Kyle. It was fairly accurate. I had a hard time starting a conversation with Kyle and at times it would be harder to keep the conversation going, because I would just end up staring at him. "I'll practice"
"Practice? Are you going to talk to your reflection?"
"No" He was actually right, but I didn't want to admit it. "I have an idea how you can practice." I raised my brow in Stan's sudden words. "What do yo–" before I would have finished my sentence Stan grabbed me from my shoulder and turned me to the other direction. What met my eyes was Kyle's bright orange jacket.
"Sorry for taking so long."
"It's fine dude." Stan as he rested his arm on my shoulder. "(Y/N) and I were actually just talking about you." Stan casually added. "What about me?" Kyle asked as he walked closer to the two of us. "(Y/N) got curious about Hanukkah." I peeked from Stan's side to see Kyle's reaction. A smile was plastered on his face. "I would be glad to teach you about Hanukkah, (Y/N). I'm surprised you would be interested in this kind of thing. I've been celebrating Hanukkah in South Park for so long and this is the first time someone has been curious about it." I'm glad Stan decided to brought this up, Kyle looks really happy about it. "You should come over to my place later. We'll be lighting the first candle on the Hanukkiah tonight"
"That's the one with nine? Eight? Candles right?"
"Yeah. After lighting it we would recite a blessing so if we go quiet it's because of that" Kyle explained to me. "Am I supposed to bring something?" I asked as I was not aware of what to do. "Don't worry you don't have to bring anything just yourself. Your presences is enough" Stan looked over to me and had a smirk on his face. "You heard that, (Y/N). He's fine with just you."
I hit Stan on the shoulder "Stop taking his words out of context." As I said that Kyle looked at the two of us and laughed. "Well I'll see you later, (Y/N). Just give me a call when you're heading to my place. I'll pick you up." With that he waved goodbye and headed to the street. As soon as Kyle was far from Stan and I looked over to the boy. "Stan, help me pick a present for Kyle." Stan gives me a bothered look and sighed "He said you didn't have to get him anything."
"But I want to get him something."
Stan rubbed his nape as his head was lowered "I swear to god you're so extra." He then looked at me and the eye and said "But I guess that's what makes you perfect for Kyle." My cheeks turned red from his remark. "I guess we can get Kyle a new iPad."
"Stan, be serious."
"Fine. Let's go get him a new bag." With that Stan and I headed out to the mall and purchased a bag for Kyle. As we got out of the mall Stan said his goodbye and I texted Kyle, telling him I'm heading to his place. As soon as I sent my text my phone started ringing. I swiped my phone open and placed it on my ear. "Hello?"
"Sorry for suddenly calling, (Y/N). Where are you right now? I'll go walk with you."
"I'm outside the mall."
"I'll be there in a few minutes. It's kinda dark out and I don't think I can stand thinking about you walking out in the dark alone." With that hung up and I was left waiting in front of the mall. "I wonder if Stan planned this."
A few minutes had passed by and I saw a familiar figure coming towards me. My instinct brought me to move towards the figure. "Kyle!" I shouted to get his attention.
"(Y/N)" He said as he stood right in front of me. "I got you something, Kyle." I raised the paper bag and reached it towards Kyle. "Thanks, (Y/N)" He said as he took the bag from me. "You didn't have to get me anything, but thank you very much. I appreciate this."
"You should also check what's inside the bag."
Kyle looked over to me and smiled "Alright, Let's go sit down over to that bench." The two of us made our way to the bench and sat down next to each other, the distance between us being short. Kyle held the paper bag on his lap and he opened it. He lifted up a small drawstring from the paper bag which caused a smile to form on his face. "You're so thoughtful, (Y/N)" He said as he looked over to me. "My bag at home is already about to break. I'm glad you got me this."
"You should check what's inside" I said as I returned a smile
Kyle opened the bag and found a small pouch that had a bunch of chocolate coins. "I heard you have to give chocolate coins during Hanukkah."
Kyle placed his hand on my head and rubbed my head. "Thanks, (Y/N)"
"I'll be sure to get you something for Christmas" He added as he leaned close towards me and planted a kiss on my cheek. "For now I can only give you that."
