Kats POV
I stare into the mirror. It's been two months since our little Walmart adventure and I'm not showing any signs. I wait for Connor to come to my room. I still haven't told him. I know I should. I just. I can't. I don't know his reaction. I've talked to Julia about this and she wasn't pleased either. She was happy for me but she was really sad. No one else other than my mom knows. I know this is a big decision. I just. California is so hard for me. I'm not sure if Connor will want to come with me. I need to be with my family right now.
Connor comes into my room.
"Whats up?" he says sitting next to me and grabbing my hand.
"I... I need to talk to you" I say DONT CRY
"WAIT YOUR NOT BREAKING UP WITH ME? RIGHT?" Connor says
"Not exactly" Connor looks worried
"I.. I'm going back home." I say
"For how long?" Connor says
"Forever?" I say
Connor is speechless.
"Oh one more thing." I say
"What?" Connor says
"Um I um I just I missed my period and like I just" I break down in tears
Connor immediately wraps me in a hug.
"But we haven't?" he says
"Two months ago. Walmart?" I say.
"Is this why you're going home?" he asks
"Ya" I say
"Do you want to?"
"No"
"Why than?"
"Cause of my family"
"Why can't we raise the baby here?"
"You think we could?"
"Why not?"
I smile and Connor immediately begins to use his finger to draw lines on my belly.
"We should tell Ricky those condoms don't work." Connor laughs
"Ya" I say
I'm not ready for this. I just. Have no other choice.
"Have you taken the test?" Connor asks suddenly
"No its been two months." I say
"Can you? Just in case?" Connor asks me
I sigh and get up. The pregnancy tests are in my cupboard. I was going to use it. I just was scared. But I missed two months.

I come out of the bathroom with the pregnancy test clutched in my hand.
"So?" Connor asks
I shake my head
"Open it" he insists
I slowly open my hand and Connor pulls me into a hug.
A "-" appears on the screen. I sigh in relief.
"I LOVE YOU" Connor says
"I Love You Too" I say engulfing him in a hug that later turns into a deep kiss.
No matter what we said before, we will never go back to being JUST FRIENDS.
