Going home

Hermione's POV

"Draco we cant drive home in Sherrie" I said. Weve been arguing over it for that last ten minutes "if I can barely handle the apperation that new baby cant, and were taking a plan!" "I cant leave Sherrie" he said as he kissed the car. I rolled my eyes as i fastened in the crying baby and got into the passenger "the nearest airport is ten minutes lets go" he sighed and got in and raced down the road. When we arrived at the airport I said "ok you apperate home and in about 27 hours drive to the airport closest to the border line and get us" "what? no Mione I'm not leaving you.." "that's exactly what there going to be thinking, so there going to be following you who ever they are. Drive around make sure no ones following you or is around when you apperate and take the slowest way the rest of the way home" "Hermione..." he said slowly and I smiled slightly "we'll be ok, besides if they find me, ive handled them before, be careful and don't call me anymore then necessary. He reluctantly nodded. I got out and grabbed the baby carriage. And walked into the airport the ran had stopped but the wind was still blowing as the sun barely showed and the wind blew and the bluish glow around me telling me the storm wasn't over, it was far from it. I glanced at Draco one more time. We shared a look of knowing the war was far from over. I walked to the desk. I walked through security and got our passes, luckily a plan to London would be boarding in 45 minutes. now all I had to do was keep the baby happy. I sat down and seen the wide eyed baby looking up at me. I picked her up smiling at her as I gave her a bottle I had already prepared. It was enough to keep her calm and pass time. After she drank most of it she started spitting it everywhere. She laughed as I continued to clean her up but she would just start slobering causing me to giggle at her little game. "awe shes so cute, congratulations" I turned to see a older looking man next to a younger girl who could not be much older then me. I decided to just go along with it because then I don't have to create a fake story because you cant exactly tell someone 'oh thx shes not my child someone left her on my doorstep and some crazy psychopath is after a week old baby' I smiled "thank you" the girl sat next to me "whats her name?" "Anna Lucia, Anna for short" the girl cooed her. It took everything in me not to laugh at the babys confused/ scarred looking face. the mans cold face as he watched the baby made me uneasy so when she started crying I instantly jumped at my chance to get away "looks like someones got a dirty diaper.. it was nice to meet you" I grabbed the car seat and headed to the restroom without seeing there faces locking it behind me. She actually did have a dirty diaper. By the time I walked back out and started reading the best book ever called Far From Over (wink wink) the plane was boarding. Of coarse Draco being Draco had gotten us first class. We were one of the only ones on. My phone buzzed 'you guys good?' I rolled my eyes 'yeah, you?' 'just dandy' I smiled as I heard the sarcasm in his voice 'quit texting me, its not safe' 'be careful' he texted i instantly responded 'always am' 'yep your a goner' i laughed lightly at that. 'see ya soon' 'k bye' 'bye'. the baby was once again asleep next to me. that's all she ever is. My smile quickly faded as I spotted the familiar two walk past me both looking at me, making me feel even more queasy. I don't know why. I sighed and couldn't help it as my hand made its way to the baby. I was one of the first people on so I knew they were boarding the non first class people. I heard a voice say 'Expelliamus' I dunked just in time. I grabbed my wand in seconds and was back up 'Stupify' it missed the girl be inches. we were both in a hall. damn it. she shot spells missing me, and me her, I seen the man running at me. I kicked him back and shot expelliamus t the girl sending her wand into my hands. "Stupify" The girl flew back and hit the wall,a 'pop' ws heard as the mn disapeared. The girl obviously couldnt because I had her wand and not many can do wandless magic. I ran to her, and held my wand at her as she was on the ground "kicking someone whos on the ground, cold" she growled "who are you" "wouldnt you like to know?" "no shit sherlock, thats why I asked" she didnt say anything he just laughed maniacally "what are you going to do, kill me?" she said smirking. I growled and pushed her agaisnt the wall "who are you!" I said loudly I got closer to her as she laughed "do your worse, because right now, while your here theres already people after your pressious boyfriend.. whats his name" "I swaer to dumledore if you hurt Draco, i will kill you" "whos to say I havny already.. and Pansy, and Blaise, and Astoria.. and poor old Daphne" I felt myself go red in the face with anger ut before I could do anything a maniacle laugh rang through the plane and she was gone. I took a deep breath to calm myself while I walked back to my seat. I wanted this to be over. I grabbed my phone and quickly called Draco "Hello" he answered almost immediatly "draco they know where were at and what we are doing. I was just attacked by two on the plane there gone were safe" "mione get off the plane if there's one theres probably more im turning around now" "I cant were taking lift off.. ill be ok, draco just dont stop the car, apperate immediatly, they have already threatened you here, I dont think theres anymore here.. that would be really stupid" I basically growled the last part. "mione you ok? what happened" "they did it, when we found you guys.. they did it.. there the reasons Blaise acting out and beat to death. they did it.." "do you know who they are?" "I wish, but trust me I plan on finding out" "hermione calm down.. just focus on getting home nothing else, ill be at the airport at seven. come straight out dont stop anywhere, got it?" "ok, be carefull, text me every second. I'm serious" ''alright I will". I hung up and picked up the baby as she fell asleep in my arms while I hummed Beauty and the Beast. The rest of the trip was agony. I jumped at every noise and once I even pointed my wand at a surprised cart pusher. when the plane finally stopped i couldnt have been more relieved. I got up when it was my turn and got out of the airport as fast as I could. I couldnt help but dread taking the baby to the ministry today, but I had no choice. I almost immediatly spotted that damned black convertable and smiled slightly at blonde boy who got out. He smilled back and fastened the baby in the back, as soon as he closed the back door I practically jumped into his arms. He wrapped his arms around me and said "hey" I smiled and said "hi" When we pulled apart I laughed slightly at his attire. his gigantic fur coat and black sunglasses "wow you look like hawaii and London had a baby" he rolled his eyes smiling "its like 10 degree but of coarse Theo burned my winter cloths the second he found out I was coming home." its actually 42 degrees and the coat is obviously Ginnys. I laughed and got in the car. "how is Theo anyways?" he smirked "well hes excited to meet you" I rolled my eyes at his suggestive smirk and hit him in the should while he laughed. I wrapped the blanket around the baby smiling sadly. "im gona miss her too" he said.When we arrived home I smiling hugely as I seen the giant hospitals. Draco got the baby saying I was gonna get tackeled. I opened the door and basically sang "im homeeee" "HERMIONE" yelled Astoria as Ginny jumped into my arms. The hug lasted like a minute but I didnt care. "ok ginger... share" said Luna. I seen her baby bump and smiled and said "LUNA... mini luna" I said hugging her a lot less tighter then ginny. I gave everyone hugs. I seen Theo and smiled "well its about time sleeping beauty awoken" he rolled his eyes smiling he gave me a hug and said "well its nice to meet you as not the enemy, but a frenemy" I smiled. In those few minutes of seeing my friends again I totally forgot about everything. "hermione where do you want this?" asked draco with my emergency suitcace"umm my room" "got it boss" he started up the stairs while Theo said "Draco Malfoy just took orders from hermione granger... strange... strange indeed.. you know yesterday when he came in he... hugged.. me, I suspesct you had something to do with this" he said turning to me. I rolled my eyes "Oh please Theodore.. hes just being a gentleman.. your being a bit dramatic dont you think" I said and I seen Draco smirk sadisfactly and stuck his tounge out at Theo "yeah.. theodore.. im a gentleman" said Draco teasingly. I rolled my eyes "this must be anna lucia" said Neville. I turned to the baby and seen her sleeping. I said quietly "yeah, beautiful isnt she.." "its a shame she has to go back" "yeah.. it is" Draco squeezed my hand reasuringly while Pansy patted my back. I rolled my eyes smiling even thought that reality hit me. its been a nice 24 hours little one. "lets just go now" no one said anyhthing so everyone took it as a agreement.
