Hermiones POV I heard the alarm go off for me to get up. I snoozed it but didn't move. I rolled under my pillow and sighed. I can't get up, I won't get up today. Tomorrow is the wars one year anniversary and today.... marked mom and dads death. I obliviated them to save them when I left for the hunt it only got them killed faster. I didn't find out until I was ready to go home after the war. The wounds are still fresh. I got up and shut my curtains and went to the restroom with the same expression printed on my face. I looked at myself in the mirror and tried not to cry as every time I blinked I remembered everything. My mom, my dad, Don. I walked down stairs a couple hours later. I seen everyone in the living room. All looked confused as to why I'm up so late and a mess except Ginny who smiled apologetically "hey mione, there's breakfast in the..." I cut her off by walking back upstairs with the ENTIRE coffee pot. I seen everyone's confused looks and Gunny shaking there head telling them not to ask. I drank the coffee and laid in bed watching Netflix for most of the day. A knock on the door woke me up though as Malfoy walked in "you got a letter" I nodded and took the letter from him as he laid next to me reading over my shoulder
Dear Hermione Hey mione, long time no talk! Just called to let you know that I'm so happy the others have woken up. I'm so excited to see you tomorrow for the one year anniversaries of Hogwarts war. I just a wish it wasn't on such a sad day. I'm sorry Hermione, I know you were close to your parents, you've had a rough past and I'm just so sorry though I know nothing I say can bring them back... love you lots I wish I was there
-Harry I sighed and rested my head a back as I forced the tears down "Hermione" I opened my eyes to see Malfoy looking at me "what happened?" I just said "today marks the death of my mom and dad" "oh I'm so.." I cut him off as I whispered the spell where he got all of my memory's. I would never normally do that to ANYONE no one should have to see and feel that but I need someone to understand to just not say sorry to know what REALLY happened. When I was done he didn't move just recollected himself. I was up by now pacing the room as the tears finally escaped. He stood up and stopped my pacing and wrapped his arms around me "it's ok, everything will be alright" "No Draco it's not.. NOTHING IS ALRIGHT!" He didn't say anything but nodded "maybe so..." "are you even trying?" I asked and he said "not really Hermione. I mean I'm sorry you had to go through that but I know you don't want a sorry you want your parents I know I do" my eyes shot up in co fusion and he said "they died after the war dad in azcaban and mom in war" I cried into his shoulder as I hugged him. I laughed in between sobs "look at us, Twinsys" he just laughed as he wiped away a hot tear off my face. "It will get better" "how are you so sure?" "I'm not but it's what I tell myself to give myself some hope." I smiled up at him and grabbed his hand "looks like we're both a little broke" he smiled slightly down at me "inhaler?" "Always" I Said thinking back to when he said he'll always be there to throw me an inhaler. "Hermione.. let's get out of here" I sighed and said "I wish" "no im serious, we need a vacation especially at times like these.. tomorrow everyone is going to be here mourning and comforting and I can't be here knowing I'm the reason there going through that.." I cut him off "Draco no one blames you" "yes they do mione.. I know why you can't go.. you want to be here for your friend.." I cut him off "let's do this" Draco needs to go and I can't let him go by himself, and not only that but I don't think I can be reminded about this either. He smiled and said "let's do this" I smiled and he said "When are we going?" "As soon as possible, I'm gonna get dressed" he nodded and said "I'm gonna go tell the others" he left and I got into my leggings and big t shirt. I looked in the mirror taking out my wet hair and pulling on my tennis shoes. I magically packed two bags. I don't know how long we're gonna be gone but I'm ready for this change. I walked down stairs to see Draco and the others down there Draco ready. The girls hugged me "BYEEE" "bye girls, make sure you watch the hospital well, and if Blaise gets up run or magically knock him out" I said. They all nodded and kissed my cheek "you ready" "of coarse" we walked out into the late night. I laughed once I seen his car a black convertible. "Really?" I asked laughing. I mean I know he was trying to get a car but really. The top was off and he just said "oh shut up me and Sherrie here have a connection" "Sherrie?" I asked as he through our bags in the back and climbed in me following him "Yeah.. isn't she a beauty" I laughed "so hot" I said jokingly. He laughed as we smeared down the road the wind in my hair and when I moved my arms it cut through the air making me laugh and smile as he played music. "Where we going?" He asked and I said simply "anywhere" it was quiet for a second besides the music as I added smiling "everywhere"
