"What do you want me to do?"
"I want you to take me back."
"I can't do that."
"Why not? You love me and you know that. The time we been apart has been torture."
"It doesn't seem like it they way you're out here fucking another man."
"I don't care about him. I'm only with him because he financially supports me."
Jay turned away from Talia and ran a hand through his hair. He came over because Talia said she needed to talk and it was really important.
"I don't know, Talia."
"Say yes. Say you forgive me and you want me back in your life. Say that we can pick up where we left off and get married and start a family."
"You want to start a family with me?"
"I wanted to start one when we were dating. I love you and I know you feel the same." She wrapped her arms his neck and kissed his cheek.
He removed her arms, "I've moved on."
"It didn't seem like that the other night."
"That was a mistake and I was caught up in the moment."
"Are you serious, right now?"
"I did love you Talia and trust me, even though that night was a mistake, it was amazing and it felt great being with you, but it didn't feel like old times."
Talia cleared her throat and took a step back away from Jay, "You got your closure, so you're done?"
Jay nodded.
"Okay then."
Jay gave her a friendly kiss on the cheek before leaving her apartment and headed to Y/N's.
"I'm getting real tired of you showing up unannounced." She said once she opened the door.
"You weren't complaining when I was coming over to deliver you some dick." He said as he walked inside.
"Well, things have changed." She closed the door and sighed.
"Yea, things have changed." He said softly.
"You owe me an explanation." She walked into the kitchen and leaned on her island.
"For what?"
"What kind of business do you be handling?"
"It's nothing bad, okay?"
"If it's not bad why can't you tell me."
Jay inhaled deeply, "I work across town."
"Doing what?"
"A little bit of everything," she looked at him with a confused look, "I work mini jobs at local businesses."
"That's not so bad, why didn't you tell me."
"Because it's embarrassing. I don't have a stable job."
"Neither do I. I'm working on my photography career and my parents help with most of my bills."
"At least you know what you want to do with your life. I'm still trying to figure it out."
"It's okay, we're still young."
Jay walked behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist, "I want to take you out tonight."
"And do what?" She turned around in his arms.
"There's this good Korean place across town and I would love it if you learned about some of my heritage."
"Okay, but only if you get to learn about some of my heritage."
"Which is?"
"American." They both chuckled.
"I think I'm pretty set on that heritage."
"Nah, you know the basic stuff, but I'm gonna teach about the underground stuff."
"Sounds great."
Y/N untangled herself from his arms and walked to her room with Jay following behind her.
"It's been awhile since I been in here."
"Mhmm."
She started to look through her dresser for something to wear.
"Is the restaurant casual, formal, or semi- formal?"
"It's semi formal, I guess?"
She nodded her head and mumbled an okay. Jay took a seat on her bed and watched as she rummaged through her dresser trying to find something to wear.
Jay watched as her ass jiggled when she walked back and forth from her closet to her dresser. He missed that ass a lot, but he knew he had to wait awhile before getting some again.
"Okay, how about this?" She turned around and held up a dress.

"Okay, how about this?" She turned around and held up a dress

"It be chilly at the restaurant."
"Okay then, I'll pair it with a denim jacket. Cool?"
"Sure."
"But what shoes am I gonna wear?" She talked to herself, throwing the dress on the bed, and walking back to her closet.
"I have to go home and change, but I'll pick you up in about 2 hours?"
"No, I want to see your apartment. I never been, remember?"
"Yea."
"So, I'll pack my clothes and we'll both will get dress at your house."
"Okay, my house is closer to the restaurant anyway."
Y/N smiled and nodded, picking out some black ankle booties and took out a bag, placing them inside, and she placed the dress and jacket inside also.
Once she was all packed, Jay drove them to his apartment, which took about twenty minutes. His neighborhood was kinda dangerous and on the rough side, but then again, so was Jay.
"I want you to stay close to me when we get out, okay?"
Y/N nodded and they got out, Jay meeting her in the middle, and he wrapped his arm around her waist
"Damn Ma! Let me get ya number!" Some random hollered.
"Just ignore them." Jay whispered in her ear.
"That's a nice ass!"
Jay clenched his jaw as they entered the building.
"Does my ass really look that good?" She said looking back at it.
Jay watched her and she laughed, letting him know she was joking.
"The elevators are out of order, so we have to take the stairs."
Y/N groaned and followed behind Jay.
"Don't worry, I live on the second floor."
"That's still a lot of stairs."
"You've had a harder workout before." Jay turned and winked at her.
Y/N tried to hide her smile and shook her head.
"Welcome to the place I call jib."
"Jib?"
"It means home in Korean."
"It's very neat and organized for a man who lives by himself."
"Well, I try," He chuckled, "So, there's only one bathroom, so you can make yourself at home or your can join me in the shower." He smirked.
"One step at a time, honey. You shower and then I'll get in."
Jay nodded and went to do what he had to do. Y/N went to go place her bag in his and seen he left his phone on the bed.
She tried to fight the urge to look at it, but the little devil on her shoulder won. She pressed the home button and it opened instantly because he didn't have a password.
She went through his messages and seen a text from a girl named Talia. That's text message read, "I know you said we couldn't get back together, but I would love it if we had one last fuck."
Y/N scoffed and thought who the fuck could this Talia girl be, but then she remembered how Jay told her that he fucked his ex. She deleted the message and scrolled through some more of his texts.
Some girl named Rain texted him, "Hey Jay baby, I really miss you. When are you gonna come through again? 2 weeks is a long time."
2 weeks? Y/N thought back to what happened 2 weeks ago and she remembered that that's when her and Jay blew up at her.
So he lied about fucking other bitches? "It was the first time." Those words screamed in her head over and over again. He never stops lying she thought.
She threw the phone on the bed and went into the bathroom, walking over to the toilet.
"You decided to join me?" He chuckled.
"Nope." She popped the "p" and flushed the toilet, causing Jay to scream and hop out, almost falling.
"WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?" he screamed as he wrapped a towel around his waist.
"NO, THE REAL QUESTION IS, WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?"
Jay looked at her confused, "What are you talking about?"
"So, when your fucked your ex, that was the first time you fucked someone besides me?"
"Yes. What's going on?"
"You're a liar and I never wanna see you again."
Y/N walked around him, grabbing her bag, she walked out the room and made it to the front door before Jay stopped her.
"Please tell me what's going on?"
"Some bitch named Rain texted you saying how she missed you and 2 weeks is too long."
Jay processed everything she was saying and couldn't remember anyone named Rain.
"I don't know anybody named Rain."
"Well, she certainly knows you, now if you will excuse me."
"Y/N-"
"How long are you gonna keep lying to me? I really thought everything was good between us and I was thinking about accepting your offer, but shit just keeps popping up."
Jay readjusted his towel before speaking, "I don't remember anything that happened 2 weeks ago besides from what happened between us."
"You're gonna play the, "I was too drunk to remember," card?"
Jay sighed and knew he wasn't gonna win this. Y/N pushed him out of the way and walked out the door.
"How are you gonna get home?" Jay called after her.
"I'll call an Uber." She yelled back without stopping.
Jay cursed under his breath and went back inside to put on some clothes before meeting her outside.
"You can't stand out her alone." He said once he caught up to her.
"I can handle myself." She crossed her arms and tried to ignore the feeling that she was being watch, even though, it probably was just Jay.
"Let me drop you off back home."
"I don't need anything from you, Jay. Just leave me alone."
Jay sighed and stood next to her, not saying a word, while she waited for her Uber. Once her uber came, she got in the car without looking back.
