Jay sat in his car, in front of Talia's apartment, trying to gain the courage to get out and go talk to her. He needed to get some closure if he wanted to pursue something with Y/N. He didn't know he wanted her as a girlfriend yet, but he knew that he didn't want her out of his life. He finally gained the courage and got out of the car, walking inside of the building. On the ride up to her floor, he took deep breaths and practiced what he was gonna say in his head. The elevator dinged and he exited out, coming face to face with Talia.

"What are you doing here?" Talia nervously chuckled. "I need to talk you." He shoved his hands inside his from pockets. "About what?" Jay sighed deeply, "6 months ago, you cheated on me. 6 months ago, I wanted to marry you, but you ruined that. I was so in love you, Talia. I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you and all of that ended in a blink of an eye." "I really don't wanna talk about this, right now. Especially after you punched James." "Fuck James, Talia, but can you blame me. You cheated on me with him and now y'all are living a happily ever after?" "Jay, I told you I was sorry, but I can't take it back. I know what I did was wrong and I'm sorry." Tears filled her eyes, threatening to fall. "Do you know that, I'm about to lose a great girl because I don't females anymore. I can't be in a committed relationship because of what you did." "What do you want me to do, Jay? I CAN'T TAKE IT BACK! I'M SORRY! I LOVED YOU AND HURTING YOU HURT ME!" "YOU DON'T GET TO BE HURT! I'M THE VICTIM!" Tears were streaming down both of their faces at this point. Talia wiped her tears roughly and turned to walk back to her apartment, but Jay pulled her back and she fell into him. Talia looked up at him and tried to pull away, but Jay held her into him. He didn't want to admit it, but it felt good having her in his arms again. "I'm so sorry, Jay." She choked out. Jay put his hands on the back of her neck and looked at her for a second, before leaning down to kiss her softly. He pulled back, waiting for her to respond. She didn't say anything, so he kissed her again. They stood in the hallway kissing, not worried about anything, but each other. Jay didn't know if he liked kissing Talia better or Y/N. Once they pulled apart, both breathing heavily, neither one of them said a word. They talked with their eyes. Jay and Talia went back to her apartment to do what Jay knows best, pleasuring women, and he spent the night. He knew he had got himself into a crazy situation, but he didn't care. He loved Talia and honestly, he never stopped. Once he left Talia's, he headed to Y/N's apartment, not knowing if she was there or not being that it was 3 in the afternoon. He knocked on her front door and it took her awhile to answer, but when she did. Jay thought she looked breathtaking. She was wearing dolphin shorts and a sports bra. She didn't say anything, she just opened the door wider for him. "You smell like sex." She said bluntly as he walked passed her. Jay got nervous, but played it off, "What are you talking about?" Y/N crossed her arms and mean mugged him, "You. Smell. Like. Sex." "Well, that's ridiculous." "Don't lie to me, just tell me straight up. Did you just have sex?" He hesitated, "yes." "I thought we weren't fucking other people, Jay?" "We're not, this is the first time." Y/N scoffed and opened the door, "you can leave." "What? Why?" "I'm not messing with someone who lies to me." "I'm not lying, I told you this was the first time." "You lied and tried to play it off like you didn't just come from some random bitch's place." "It wasn't a random bitch." He mumbled. "What?" "It wasn't some random bitch. It was my ex." Y/N closed the door back and stared at Jay. "It was a mistake-," Jay started. "Save the bullshit. If you wanna fuck with your ex again than go ahead. We're not dating, we're just two people who were having fun." "Were?" "That's correct. You can let yourself out." She went to walk past him, but Jay grabbed her wrist. "I'm not going anywhere. I came over here for a reason." "For some pussy?," she snatched her wrist away from him, "you just got some." Y/N was surprised by how calm she was right now. "I came over her to tell you that I can't do a relationship with you," Y/N sighed as tears filled her eyes, "it's not because I don't have feelings for you, it's because of my past." "I don't give a fuck." She snarled as a tear fell down her cheek, but she quickly wiped it away. "Y/N, please. "Whatever we had going on, it's over with." "No." "Excuse me?" Jay went to kiss her, but she stopped him. "We're not over. We're gonna continue this until I can truly believe that I can be in a committed relationship with you." "I'm not fucking you anymore and I'm not fucking with you anymore. Now get out." "Y/N-" "GET OUT!" Jay sighed and took one last look at her before leaving out. When the door closed, Y/N sobbed. She cried until there was another knock on her door a few minutes later. "JAY, GO AWAY!" "It's not Jay, it's Nick." She wiped her face and fixed herself up before answering the door. "Whoever that Jay is, he's a dick."

Y/N laughed lightly, "What are you doing here?" "I was just in the neighborhood and wanted to check up on you." She let him in and they both sat on the couch. "Do you wanna talk about it?" "Not really." She said hoarsely. "Do you need me to beat his ass?" He asked jokingly. "That would be amazing." They shared a laugh. Nick was a high school of Y/N's. They did date for a little bit, but they both decided that it would be best if they remained friends. "Did you guys just break up?" "In a way." "Well he's an idiot for hurting you." "Thanks, Nick." "No problem." Y/N spent the rest of her night with Nick and she forgot all about Jay.
