Chapter 18 - The First Ultrasound For Pregnancy #2

*Ciara's POV*

Today is the day I get the ultrasound knowing the baby's gender. I am really hoping for a boy and Cameron is hoping for a girl. Cameron and I arrive at the appointment. The girls are being babysat by Jazzy. We want to surprise them later with the gender. I sign in at the desk and then go sit down in the waiting room and wait to be called. About 10 minutes later, my doctor comes out and calls me to come back. I go into the room with Cameron and lay on the bed that they have there for patients. The doctor takes my blood pressure, temperature, weight, etc. I'm given a gown to put on for the ultrasound. The doctor leaves the room and Cameron turns around away from me so I can change. Once I'm in the gown, the doctor comes back in and Cameron turns back around to face me. "Now I'm going to apply this gel to your stomach and we'll try to see what the baby's gender is." The doctor said. We nod and the gel was applied and the ultrasound began. The wand moved all around my stomach checking on the baby's heart rate and trying to find a good spot to see the gender. "Congratulations, it looks like you are having a boy." the doctor said. We were so excited to be adding to our family. "Would you like to know the due date?" the doctor asked. "Yes, that way we have a better time line on getting things ready." I said. "Your due date will be or around March 8th." the doctor said. The doctor prints off a couple of ultrasound photos and hands them to us and then leaves the room so I can change back into my clothes. Once back in my clothes we leave the room and go to the desk to schedule the next appointment. The girls are going to be so excited about getting a brother. We're gonna plan a gender reveal party that's going to take place within the next couple of weeks.

Hey guys sorry this chapter took forever I had a couple things happen in my life. I moved outta Florida to Minnesota then got a job and then quit that job and moved back to Florida then tried to get a job there but didn't happen so I moved back to Minnesota then I got 2 jobs and quit 1 after a couple weeks then in June I moved into my own house with a few roommates and always busy working or hanging with my boyfriend. But I'm back and getting into the story. It may take a bit but I'll be here to update. You guys hopefully know what to do.
