Chapter 4 - Woke Up In The Hospital

Jazzy's POV: (pic of Jazzy) (Ciara 13 weeks 3 days)

I don't know what happened but I woke up in the hospital. I look to my left and see Ciara sitting there. "What happened?" I asked Ciara. Ciara looks at me and explains what happened. "You went after Michael after I told you he left me and you had gotten into an accident before even going to Michael. I got the call that you were on your way to the hospital and I rushed here as soon as possible and haven't left" Ciara explains. "Well can you possibly blame me for wanting to hurt the dude after he left you when you are three months pregnant" I said. Ciara had a little smile appear on her face after what her best friend said. "And that is why I love you Jazzy" Ciara said. "I love you too CiCi. Forever and always right?" I said. "Forever and always Jazzy" Ciara said. The doctor comes in and starts to check everything to make sure everything was normal. "You are very lucky Ms. Meyers. The impact of the force of the car could of killed you. You have to stay over night so I can make sure everything is normal" Dr. Vasquez said. Dr. Vasquez walked out the room. "Come lay with me" I said as I moved over and patted the empty spot next to me. Ciara got up and layed down with me on the hospital bed. We both fell fast asleep.

Ciara's POV:

I was the first to wake up and I didn't want to wake Jazzy so I got up slowly and sat in the chair I was sitting in yesterday. The doctor came in a few minutes later. Jazzy woke up when the doctor entered. "Good morning. I'm sorry I didn't mean to wake you but I need to check your vitals and blood pressure" Dr. Vasquez said. "Ok" Jazzy said as she sat up in the hospital bed so the doctor could check her vitals and blood pressure. "Everything seems normal. How do you feel Ms. Meyers?" Dr. Vasquez asked. "I feel fine. Can I go home now?" Jazzy asked feeling a little impatient. "Yes you can go home just let me get the discharge papers for you to sign" Dr. Vasquez said as she walked out of the room. "I have to schedule an ultrasound for tomorrow" I said. "Do you want me to come with you?" Jazzy asked. "Well I need someone to come with me" I said. Jazzy was about to say something when Dr. Vasquez walked back in with the discharge papers. Jazzy quickly signed them and changed into her clothes because she was in the hospital gown. I took out my phone and dialed my doctor's number. "Hello Ms. Melendez" my doctor said. "Hello Dr. Matthews. I would like to schedule an ultrasound for tomorrow" I said. "Ok come in about 1 tomorrow" my doctor said. "Ok bye Dr. Matthews" I said before I hung up the phone. "My ultrasound appointment is at 1 tomorrow" I said as I got into the driver side and Jazzy for into the passenger side. The doctor said she couldn't drive until she was fully recovered. "Are you hungry?" I asked. "Yeah. I want pizza" Jazzy said. I drove to the nearest pizza place and bought two pizzas. I was walking to my car when I bumped into somebody. "I'm so sorry" I said. "its ok. it was my fault. I should of been watching where I was going" the guy said. I recognized the voice. I looked up and saw that it was Michael's best friend Brandon. "I...I gotta go" I said and I quickly picked up the pizzas and walked to my car. I got in my car only to find a sleeping Jazzy in the passenger seat. I drove home and when I got home I woke up Jazzy before getting out. Jazzy glared at me and I knew what that meant. She was to hungry to care that her hair was a mess. Jazzy and I were eating and it was silent. My phone rang to break the silence. I look at it to see Brianna's name flashing on the screen and I picked up. "Hello" I said. "Hey Ciara. How are you?" she asked. "I'm good" I said. "That's good to hear. How you holding up?" she asked. "Fine" I said. "Well I got to go get ready for my date with Collin. He is taking me to the ice rink" she chirped. "Ok bye Brianna. Have fun" I said and hung up. Moments later the pizza was gone. "Wanna watch some movies for the rest of the day?" Jazzy asked. "Sure. What movie do you wanna watch first?" I asked. Jazzy looked at the movies before answering. "Frozen" Jazzy answered happily. I put Frozen in the dvd player and sat on the couch with Jazzy. When the song 'Do you wanna build a snowman' came on I started singing along to it. Jazzy and I fell asleep while watching Frozen. I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing. I look at it and I see that it is Brianna. I wasn't in a mood to talk to her so I ignored the call and texted her instead. Jazzy suddenly woke up screaming and I turned to her and cuddled her into a hug. "What's wrong?" i asked her. "Nothing. I just had a bad dream. I'll be fine" she said. I took out the movie Frozen and put in another movie. The night came to an end and Jazzy and I went to bed.

Sorry it took so long to update. I had a serious case of writer's block and I've been busy with school. Well vote and comment. I'll try to get the next update as soon as I can.
