Percy's POV:

I was flying over the ocean with Blackjack, trying to clear my mind. Annabeth and I just recently broke up, it was on mutual terms so there was no bad blood between us or anything. And we were still closer than anyone else, but the breakup left my mind a bit cloudy. After the giant war, Annabeth had decided to rebuild the Parthenon, something that she has wanted to do since she first saw it. I wanted to become a year-round camp director, thinking I could take the job from Mr. D who, at first was livid that I was trying to replace him but soon came around and actually thanked me. I'm brought out of my thoughts when Blackjack spoke.

'Hey, Boss, big storm up ahead, we heading back or nah?' Blackjack said calmly

"Let's just keep flying, Zeus probably wants to test us, remind me to thank him when we get back though, this will definitely keep my mind off of things" I said as I leaned forward and we shot towards the oncoming storm

We entered the clouds and they formed around us blocking our view of the ground but I didn't mind. This was Zeus' domain after all and after the giant war, we settled our differences, the only way an air head and seaweed brain could. A game of chess, at the end it was a draw because we both didn't strategize and we ended up with just our kings.

'Boss, you there?' Blackjack asked and I shook my head clearing my thoughts as we flew through the increasing winds

"Yeah I'm here buddy, whats up?" I asked

'This isn't a normal storm, there are no storm spirits here, just raw power, and not that of a god' Blackjack said and a really strong gust of wind nearly knocked me off of Blackjack

"Up! Go up!" I yelled and Blackjack angled up and pumped his wings trying to get us above the storm

'Come on, come on!' Blackjack chanted as I held on with a grip that would make Heracles jealous

Just as I saw a light blue light, a bolt of electricity hit us and we flew apart and started falling.

"BLACKJACK!!!" I yelled as I saw his limp form

Just as I was about to angle myself to catch him, another bolt of electricity hit me and I blacked out.

I opened my eyes before shutting them faster than Athena could think.

'Why is it so bright in my cabin?' I thought as I shifted over to my side and felt something like grass hit my face 'Why does the Demeter cabin have to prank me now?' I groaned before a thought hit me

"Wait, the Demeter cabin doesn't play pranks..." I said as I opened my eyes and sat up

I looked around and froze. I was in a forest of lush green trees, with flowers. Then, the events from before entered my mind and I started freaking out.

"I should be in the ocean... not on the ground..." I said as I stood up and pulled Riptide out of my pocket and felt comfort that the sword was with me still "Blackjack, you around here buddy?" I called out but got nothing in reply "Blackjack!" I called out again as I started walking in a random direction keeping an eye out for any monsters

I walked for several hours before arriving at a small pond. In the center, I found a black feather, a feather that I knew belonged to Blackjack. I picked the feather up and spun it in my hand.

"By the gods I hope you are alright buddy" I said as I sunk into the pond and fell asleep

Zelda's POV:

"What do you mean I must go out with guards?" I yelled at my father who was pacing in front of his throne

"I am saying Zelda, that yesterday's storm was not natural, I will not have you leave the castle unless you have protection from whatever caused that storm" the king said and I stomped my foot

"Fine, but no more than two guards shall accompany me" I said and Father scowled

"Six guards" He countered

"Two guards" I said again

"Four" he said

"Three and not a soul more" I said finally

"Fine, choose your guards daughter" He said and I walked over to my usual three guards and motioned them to follow me

Soon, we were all mounted on our horses and were riding out of the castle when I spotted a black form fly over head and our horses went wild for a few minutes.

"What was that?" One of my guards said and I soothed my horse

"I don't know, let's go find out" I said and urged my horse to follow the black figure in the sky

"I hope it's peaceful" another guard said and I nodded in agreement, having a fight with an unknown object would not bode well for anyone

"Let's keep our heads on straight then, and not take any rash actions to aggravate the thing" I said and we continued to follow it toward the Rito Village

A/N: Trying something brand new, how is it?
