Ch 10 - Issei In Critical Condition

After about an hour, both Lord Michael and Irina woke up. They were slightly hurt still. They looked over at the third bed that held Issei. Issei was still unconscious. Irina walked over to Issei and looked him over. She looked back at Rias with tears in her eyes.

"What is it Irina?" asked Rias never having seen Irina start to cry.

"He is struggling to survive. His energy is so low that there isn't anything that any of us angels can do." Irina said.

Both Reina and Alyssa started to cry. Xenovia walked over to the girls and surprised everyone by what she did. Xenovia always wanted to be a mom but settled for being an aunt. She bent down and pulled the girls into a hug.

"Don't cry. Your dad will be just fine. We devils are built tough and will fight to survive." Xenovia said.

Koneko started to cry. She had a secret that nobody knew. She was pregnant again. Asia came over to Koneko and hugged her. It scared Koneko. She didn't know what to do if she lost Issei. Unfortunately all anyone could do is wait. Rias knew something was wrong with Koneko. It wasn't like her to get emotional a lot.

"Come Koneko. We have to talk." Rias said walking away from everyone.

Koneko followed her until they were on the other side of the dorm.

"Spill it. I know there is something wrong." Rias said.

"Well. You see. I'm pregnant again." Koneko whimpered afraid Rias was mad.

"Well congrats. You know if he survives this, that you will have to tell. We aren't in highschool anymore." Rias said.

Everyone except Kiba stayed in the girls' dorm. The fact there was a guy in there didn't even bother the angels. They trusted that Issei wasn't perverted. They still walked around naked when going and coming from the washroom. The angels would come over every once in a while to put another damp washcloth on Issei's head. It went on in a never ending cycle for four days before Issei started to move.
