Coras P.O.V.
Laying in his arms I felt safe. I never thought I could love anyone this much. He had just fallen asleep but I was wrapped in his arms with my head on his chest. I could hear his heart beating. I sigh and close my eyes. If I could just lay here and do nothing I would. All I want in life is to share my life with him. He's safe. He's careful... Especially with me. He acts as though I'm a flower blowing in the breeze. He thinks that I'm the most fragile petal. I love him with my entire heart and I feel complete.
Then Kay-Lee walks in. "Cora, May is on the phone for you. What do you want me to do?" I sigh and get up. I don't particullarly like May. We ended our friendship on a terrible note. She made-out with my boo. I've held that against her for so long. We really haven't talked (Civilly) since.
Kay-Lee, Chet, Derek, and I all live in a two bedroom apartment.
Derek frowns when I get up and I take the phone from Kay-Lee. "Hi,May. What do you need?" I ask quietly. She grumbles then talks. "I need a place to stay, can I crash on your guys couch? It'll only be for a little while and I'll chip in with the rent. " I walked over to Kay-Lee and recapped it to her
She says "I'll wake up Chet you wake up Derek and tell her to come over. " I nod. "May come over in around five minutes and we'll talk about it. " I hang up and walk back into my room and lay on Derek. I caress his face then lean down and kiss him."Baby, wake up." He starts to sit up then grabs ahold of me. "Why do I have to wake up" he mumbles into my collarbone. "Because May wants.to move in.for.awhile and all four of us need to talk about it. " he kisses my collarbone. Then says "Babe, as long as I'm with you I don't care. " I nod then whisper for him to go back to bed.
Mays P.O.V.
God! Why did I want to live here? There's nothing to do! You didn't want to live here. Mommy and Daddy gave you the boot. Shut up brain. Apparently Derek and Chets friend Leo is coming over. I haven't seen him since high school, I had a big crush on him then. Leo is going to be staying here for awhile too. I wonder where we're putting him. Someone knocked on the door. I got off the couch that was serving as my bed and answered the door. He had gotten taller. He was wearing jeans and a Five Finger Death Punch shirt.
I waved him in. " Where's your bags?" he pointed to the car. "Is anyone else home?" I shook my head no. He nodded and walked back out the door and started getting his things out of his trunk. I walked outside. " Need any help?" I ask. "Yeah, take these in and set them wherever." He points to a couple of bags. After we got all of his things into the house.
" So, mighty May, what brings you to living here? I thought you were a fancy pants doctor or something." I smile. " I am a doctor but that doesn't cover enough to get an apartment of my own right now so I'm staying here because my parents kicked me out. I help with the rent. I think that Kay-Lee and Cora are too nice letting me stay here. I've been looking at apartments but they do cost money and I've been helping with rent and groceries here. Why are you here?"
He nods then says."I was working for a company that got shut down. I'm looking for a job around here and an apartment, we could rent a two bedroom together." I was taken by shock. I look up and see no seriousness in his face. I laugh." Maybe eventuly. I haven't seen you since highschool!" he nods. " I've been driving for awhile, do you happen to know a place I could crash?" I look down at the couch I was sitting on. "You could sleep here. I'm going to do some paperwork. Your key is on the little hooky thing in the kitchen."
Really mouth? Hooky thing. I hear Leo chuckle. I walk out of the apartment and lock the door behind me. We live on the first floor of the building. I walk out of the door and go to my car.
Leo's POV
Wow, she has certainly grew up. She was wearing a large t-shirt over her smaller frame. Her chest was obvious and she had legs to heaven. I was working on controlling the part of me in my pants that wanted to stand at attention. Then she had to go to work. I was dissapointed but I chuckled anyways because it came up and I didn't have to fix it.
Instead of crashing on what appeared to be her make-shift bed, I wandered around. The apartment was fairly big. I stopped in the kitchen and made a sandwich. Well, I'm screwed.
