It's a toxic word
I know I should let it get to me but
I still do

All those popular girls in high school
And the celebrities with beautiful voices
And the girls that he's had before me
I'm broken
Because I'm letting these thoughts get to me
Even though I know
I shouldn't
But, after all,
Being exposed to the same harsh words after so many years
