Imagine- You are in love with Kai, but he's in love with someone else
"She said yes!" Kai yells from the other room. I walk into the room, only to be tackled by Kai. I hug him and smile "What are we celebrating?" I ask confused of his newly found excitement.
"Bonnie said yes to a date!" He grins, hugging me again. With those words I felt my heart sink into my stomach. "R-really? Good for you! I knew you c-could do it." I say, trying not to make in obvious I'm on the brink of tears. I am in love with Kai but he didn't know that
Kai isn't one for emotions so seeing him so happy, I'll be damned if I let my emotions get in the way of his happiness. My hair falls in front of my face, thank God for my long hair.
I see in the corner of my eye, Damon poking his head in "Hey hey hey, what's going on today?" He asks, but notices my face. He's seen me like this before. Kai rolls his eyes at Damon who is looking at me, with nothing but soft emotions
Kai claps and turns around "Well I gotta go get ready!" He smiles and runs out. I feel hot tears threatening to spill. Damon vamps over and hugs me. I cry softly when I hear the door swing open "Hey I forgot my ke--WHAT HAPPENED!?" Kai yells running over, only to be pushed away by Damon "Beat it you dick!" Damon growls, venom dripping from his voice. Kai glares "I need to know who hurt her! I will kick their ass!! Wait... Damon what did you do to her!?" He yells. Damon rolls his eyes "Why don't you ask yourself that question" he hisses and looks at me. "I can handle this Damon, it's okay.." I whimper. He nods and walks out. Kai runs over
"what happened?" He asks softly, taking my hand and gripping it softly. "I don't want to talk about it." I whisper.
I could see hurt in his eyes, as burning tears roll down my face "You won't tell me but you told Damon?" He asks quietly.
"That's between me and hi--" he cuts be off
"We were stuck in a prison world for years together! We told each other every thing! How could this time be any different!?'' He yells, hurt and confusion laced his words. I whimper and look down "You wouldn't understand, you should go, you have a date remember." I whisper. He grips my hand and looks me dead in the eye
"Try me."
He says
"Kai.."
"Try me."
"Stop."
"Come on, try me."
"I'M IN LOVE WITH YOU! OKAY!? THERE I FUCKING SAID IT! I'VE BEEN IN LOVE YOU FOR YEARS!"
I yell at him, the words that just came out of my mouth, shocked him
"Why didn't you say anything?" He asks softly.
"BECAUSE YOU WERE HAPPY!"
I yell, Kai hugs me. "I would never be happy, not without you Y/N." He smiles kissing me softly. I kiss back, happily knowing he cares.
"I love you Kai."
"I love you more."
