Imagine- Falling for Damon as a human, and being siblings with Katherine
I step out of the carriage, after my sister, Katherine, the Salvatore brothers waiting by the door. The oldest, Damon Salvatore, smiles at me. My heart feels like it's pounding, what is this. I smile sweetly which Katherine didn't seem to like. She walks up to the brothers and bows "I'm Katherine Pierce, Nice to meet you both." She smiles, a love glint in her eye. And like that, they were both trapped under her wing.
I smile and bow, taking the hand of Damon who volunteered to show me to my room. "Thank you for your courtesy." I smile. He bows his head "It hard to not be kind to a woman so beautiful." He smiles. I giggle "Why thank you, I see you are handsome and polite." I lean up towards him. "I have a feeling I will be very happy here." I smile. He nods "I sure hope so, I want nothing but pure bliss while in my family's estate." Damon bows. "As for now, I'll leave you to unpack, then we can take a walk around the lake." He smiles and walks back downstairs.
~3 months later~
I walk into the hallway and sigh. Katherine walks over to me "You are messing with my plan, sister. I already have the oldest around my finger." She grins. "A little birdie told me that you get all fluttery when you're around him." I breath out shakily "D-Damon and you...? That's uh.... interesting..." I whimper.
I run into my room, and throw a glass cup at the wall. "I'm stupid! Stupid." I cry into my pillow. "Katherine always wins..." I mumble, not hearing the raven haired boy walk behind me. "Katherine is a winner at a lot, but you I'm sure are better at something." He says, kneeling beside me. "Are you okay, Y/N?" He asks, placing his arm on my waist. I look over at him "You...and.... Katherine huh?" I whimper. He tenses up "Y/N it's... not....yeah I guess" I take in a deep breath shakily, a tear sliding down my cheeks "Okay that's all I needed to hear.." I say, standing up and packing my clothes and all my stuff. Damon grabs my hand "What are you doing?" He asks, softly. "I'm leaving " I sniffle.
He closes my suitcase, before I finished. "Why?" He asks. I shakily breath deeply "You wouldn't understand.. " I sigh, trying to open my suitcase again, but Damon forces it closed again "Why?" He asked again, insistently. I collapse onto the ground "Because I'm in love with you, Damon! There I said it! Can I go now!?" I cry
Damon's eyes widen, he slowly walks towards me. "I'm sure you have somewhere else to be, like the threesome between you, your brother and my sister." I whimper, trying to finish packing before I collapse into tears. He grabs my arm, turning me around, and hugging me. That did it, I collapse into tears and buried my face into his chest. He rubs my back, gently, trying to calm me down. "Y/N please don't cry. It hurts me to see you like this..…" he whispers into my hair. I tense up and bite my cheek
"Damon...you love Katherine and I don't want to be a burden so I must go...." I choked out, shakily. He grabs my shoulders "I don't love Katherine! I love you, but how you laugh, the way your eyes glisten and sparkle, you're perfect and I don't deserve you!" I lacked words, I didn't know what to say. I stand there, staring at him. "Damon I'm not perfe--" he crashes his lips into mine. My eyes widen, but I soon melt into the kiss. I release from the kiss, looking him in the eye. "Y/N I love you, but I don't want to finish the transition." He whispers.
My eyes widen "Damon.... I'm so sorry. I wish I could prevent her from doing this to you..." I say, kissing him softly. He chuckles and runs his hand through my hair. "I know..." He smiles sadly. I sigh "This isn't fair...." I whimper. He hugs me "I'm sorry..." He says and walks out. "I love you y/n don't forget me." He smiles sadly and vamps away.
~Present Day~
I'm coming back to mystic falls. I need to pay my respects to the Salvatore memorial. I sigh and look around the small building. "There's no Damon Salvatore..." I sigh, that bastard of a father he had never buried his sons.
I look around for the Salvatore boarding house, just to see who has been born into the new Salvatore generation. I approach the big Manor and sigh. I knock, nervously kicking the ground. I see raven haired man, icy blue eyes, and an extremely familiar face. My heart fluttered. Is this a doppleganger of the real Damon Salvatore I look down "Is this the Salvatore boarding hou--" I get cut off by the oldest Salvatore "Y/n?" He asks softly. A tear runs down my face "Damon you said you wouldn't complete the transition..." I say, a hint of confusion. He pulls me inside "I know...I know, Stefan made me drink human blood before I died" I smile and kiss his. I see a woman walk into the room "Oh, Damon finally got a girlfriend?" She says. I look at her "Katherine?" I asked confused, Damon laughs "This is Elena, the doppleganger.."
