Prologue

"You like him?" Sharon asked, looking at me as if I’ve got a pair of horns protruding from my
head.

"What is so shocking?" I countered, wondering if I’ve really said something unbelievable.

"Anu... you sure?" she confirmed.

"What do you mean?" I blurted.

I cannot fathom why it was so difficult for her to digest the fact that I actually like him. Granted he’s my boss, but he is also my first ever crush! Okay, I know it's not acceptable to crush on
your CEO, but I’ve got a stupid heart, I tell you! I started liking him since the first time I saw him.

But my best friend is still shocked that I am actually falling for my new boss. If you ask me, I could do nothing but just look at him all day, and it would still be less. I get to spend more time
with him than other employees because I am his chief designer, and I love myself for that!

However, I have no idea whether he likes me or not. He only shares a professional relationship with me regarding project and designs. Though we go for business trips together once in a while, his conversations never venture beyond meetings or presentations.

"Are you serious, Antara?" Sharon asked again. "You like, The Aalap Singhania?"

"Yes, yes, yes!" I said aloud. "I like my boss, damn it!"

Nobody knows my condition at the moment. I am secretly enjoying this relationship where none of us has confessed yet. I am Antara Sharma and I am looking forward to a secret romance with my boss.
