I felt his lips on mine and closed my eyes. I couldn't believe that was happening. My first ever crush stole my first kiss. The only thing I could thought of was...

The Aalap Singhania was kissing me!

Both his hands cupped my face and just when I was about to savour the moment, he pushed me away. All I could see in his eyes was... guilt.

"I.. I am sorry Miss. Sharma, I don't know how and why it happened. I am really very sorry. I.."

"Boss!" I cut him in middle holding both his shoulders. "Relax!"

But I realised that he was more than guilty. He ran his hand through his hair and looked at the ground particularly nowhere.

"Boss," I took a deep breath. "I don't want to regret it."

He looked at me speechless as I stood determined in front of him. I do-not want to regret my first kiss, nor I want him to.

"I can't help it boss, I like you. And what happened today, I think you feel for me too. So now I am confident, I just like you."

I said it in a single breath and waited for him to react. I was surprised to see him just walk out of the parking. My heart ached. Tears ran down my cheeks feeling hurt. I never expected him to reciprocate my feelings all of a sudden but I also didn't expect him to just leave like that. I felt my heart breaking. I wanted to shout, have a tantrum and let it all out. He had left. And didn't look back once. I wiped my tears and came back to my room.

"Anu, tell me if something is wrong. You're changed since you are back from Greece. What happened exactly?" Sharon asked me the umpteenth time.

It has been a week since we are back from Greece. It has been a week I last spoke to boss. It has been a week I had seen him. For every project, either he would just drop me a mail for designs or send his secretary to drop a message. He was actually being too professional. No. He was on the next level of being professional.

"If you are not going to tell me today, I will not cook for a month, Antara!" Sharon said faking an anger.

"Is that even a threat?" I asked ridiculed. "And dare you call me with my full name again!

"Don't change the topic!"

I rolled my eyes and she made a puppy one. No one can beat her when she does that. I closed the file and dropped my pencil.

"Don't try to make your stupid face more stupid, okay?" I said and she frowned.

"They say I look cute when I do that. Anyways, I thought we were best friends." She as usual, started the emotional blackmailing.

"Fine. Listen!" I finally gave up. She sat on the conference table in front of me. "I told him what I feel for him."

"You did?" I gathered a familiar voice and looked towards the man looking at me with a happy smile and surprised eyes.

"Aarav! How many times have I told you to knock before you come in?" I asked really angry on him for listening our conversation without permission.

"It's not your cabin, Anu. And I didn't tell you to gossip inside the conference hall." He said as he took a chair beside me. "Anyways! You proposed him?"

"None of your business!" I spat.

"Anu!" Sharon warned me.

Aarav is a sweet Indian boy, Boss' best friend and also the co-chair man of our Company. At first he was a business partner, as their friendship grew stronger they decided to merge their companies. Well, Sharon and Aarav like each other. They haven't confessed yet but you can see it in their eyes.

"I will not mind any if you me taunt today because I am eager to know if you were able to melt my friend's cold heart." He seemed so excited that he even ignored Sharon's warn for me.

"Yes, Anu! Please start from the start." Sharon was equally excited.

"Oh wait!" Suddenly Aarav stood up. "I came here to call you guys up. You boss need to declare something."

We looked at each other then followed him. We reached boss' office and realised they were been waiting for us. Boss too.

He stood up from his chair as we entered. I gazed at him with all my feelings again rushing up but he didn't even looked at me. I stopped my tears from falling down. It was better when he just talked to me professionally, his avoidance was killing me.

"We are here because I want to announce about a new rule of the office. It has come to my notice that some people are being distracted from work for some really irrational reasons. So the new rule of this office is 'No Dating'."
