“Lucy? Lu, wake up.” I felt my body being shaken by someone as my eyes jerked open. I was greeted by those familiar green eyes that I’ve missed over the night. But I can’t let him know that.

I immediately jumped from the couch and attacked him with a hug as he hugged back.

Your relationship isn’t gonna last, I remembered what Calum told me last night.

I buried my face in his chest. “I’m sorry, Michael,” I barely whispered.

“I’m sorry, too.” He kissed the top of my head and those familiar butterflies overwhelmed me again.

We just stood there, enjoying each other’s presence when Michael spoke up.

“Do you want to go out and eat something? It’s only 9:36 am,” he said and I nodded.

“Just let me get dressed up.” With that, I went straight up to my room.

“Can I take your order?” the waitress asked Michael, not looking at him yet. But as soon she saw him, her eyes widened.

“O-Oh, my God. You’re Michael C-Clifford,” she stuttered as Mike chuckled. “Yes, I am.”

“Can I please take a picture with you?” she asked as Michael replied, “Sure.”

He stood up and the waitress got out her phone. She positioned herself beside Michael and suddenly asked me, “Can you take a picture of us?”

“Oh, umm, okay.” I took her phone and was about to take a picture when she suddenly spoke up.

“Michael, can you kiss me on the cheek?” she asked without looking shy for even the slightest bit. That was when I suddenly felt my blood boil.

“Uhh, okay..,” Michael reluctantly agreed but put on a smile before planting his lips on the girl’s cheek. I think my whole face is getting red now.

I took the picture then gave it back to her. She looked at it and her face scrunched up.

“It’s a little bit blurry. Can you take another?” That was it.

“You know, if you wanted a perfect picture of you and this guy, you should’ve rented your own personal photographer since you’re too perfect to be ‘a little bit blurry’ in a picture,” I snapped and quoted her line.

Before I could hear any of their responses, I immediately took my purse and Michael’s car keys then stormed out of the scene. But just before I walked out the restaurant, I saw a guy personnel in the counter and went up to him.

I looked back at them to make sure if they saw me and when I confirmed they are, I took the waiter’s collar and pulled him to me and kissed his cheek.

I’m pretty sure that they thought that I kissed him on the lips, considering that the waiter’s back was facing them.

I pulled away and left the restaurant without another word.
