“Calum! Calum, please open up!” I banged on the door for as hard as I can. After a few seconds, it flew open revealing a tired looking Calum, with eyes still drooping shut.

I wouldn’t blame him. It is 3 o’ clock in the morning. Oops.

Approximately 15 hours ago, Michael moved out.

“The hell, Lucinda? What are you doing here in the middle of the night?” he asked. I went inside his flat, not waiting for permission.

“Where is Michael? I know he’s here. Please let me talk to him. I just, I just can’t bear the feeling of him not with me. I-I love him and he doesn’t even know it. I want to apologize. Please let me, Calum. I need him and-”

“He’s in the guest room.” With that, he went back to his room tiredly as I ran up to the guest room.

When I was at the door of the room, I slowly opened it, revealing Michael on the bed, his legs crossed and his back facing me.

I let myself in and closed the door, and then he quickly turned around. His eyes were very red and looked very tired, considering he wasn’t sleeping at all.

“W-What are you doing here?” he asked, obviously shocked.

“I need to talk to you. Please,” I pleaded but he didn’t answer. He turned around and slumped his back again. I frowned and looked around the room and spotted a guitar. Perfect.

I quickly grabbed it and took a chair then placed it beside his bed. I sat on it then started strumming the chords to his song that I finished writing. (A/N - On the side is the lyric video of the song. I do not own the song.)

I don't know if I can yell any louder,

How many times have I kicked you out of here?

Or said something insulting? He turned to look at me with the beautiful green eyes I fell in love with.

I can be so mean when I wanna be,

I am capable of really anything,

I can cut you into pieces,

When my heart is broken. I sang to him and never broke eye contact.

Please, don't leave me

Please, don't leave me

I always say how I don't need you

But it's always gonna come right back to this

Please, don't leave me

How did I become so obnoxious?

What is it with you that makes me act like this?

I've never been this nasty.

Can't you tell that this is all just a contest?

The one that wins will be the one that hits the hardest.

But baby I don't mean it,

I mean it, I promise

Please, don't leave me, oh

Please, don't leave me

I always say how I don't need you

But it's always gonna come right back to this

Please, don't leave me

I forgot to say out loud

How beautiful you really are to me.

I can't be without.

You're my perfect little punching bag,

And I need you, I'm sorry.

Please, please, don't leave me

Baby, please, don't leave me

Please, don't leave me

I always say how I don't need you

But it's always gonna come right back to this

Baby, please, please, don't leave me.

I didn’t fight of the feeling because as soon as I finished the song, I broke into tears after I set down the guitar on the floor. Michael still didn’t say anything so I assumed that he doesn’t want me anymore. Maybe what he said the day before was true.

With that, I stood up and went straight to the door. Before I opened it, I whispered, “I love you.”

“Wait.” I quickly turned around. His eyes bored through mine when he suddenly stood up and ran to me and crashed ourselves into a tight hug. He buried his face in my neck as I buried mine in his chest. I missed this, being in his arms. I love this feeling and I could stay in that place forever, if I could.

“I’m sorry. I’m so so sorry for everything I said. I didn’t mean it. I need you, no one else. You’re not a slut and I love you. I love you very much. Please don’t leave,” he said as he kissed my forehead and kept repeating ‘sorry’ while hugging me even tighter, as if I’d want to pull apart.

“Michael,” I said as he stopped talking and faced me with our arms still embracing each other.

“I’m very sorry, too.” He smiled weakly and I added, “I love you. Please don’t leave me, too.”

Without hesitation, he pulled me in his lips. As we kissed, I felt electricity ignite me as every moment we savor is like fireworks. I love it. I love him.

The kiss deepened and in that moment, I knew that Michael was all I need.
