Sirius opened his eyes, the bright light surrounding him as he blinked away the sleep still clouding his vision. "Where...?" he asked to himself.
He didn't expect anyone to answer, especially not the voice he heard. "Heaven."
The voice was smooth, still holding the youthful innocence he remembered from all those years ago. His eyes snapped closed, refusing to look incase this was a wonderful dream. "No. No. No. This can't be real. I can't be dead. There are no dead people standing there waiting for me to wake up. That is not how today was supposed to go."
Sirius could practically hear him roll his eyes "Come on Padfoot, when has our life ever gone like it was supposed to?"
At these words, Sirius's eyes flew open and he launched himself at his best friend "PRONGS!" He shouted with joy. They hugged each other tightly. Not caring about manliness at the moment.
Lily was the next person to peak her head around the corner, "I take it he's awake." she said, trying and failing to hold in her laughter.
"LILY FLOWER" Sirius yelled as he embraced the woman he considered a sister in a tight hug.
"I missed you too Sirius" She whispered as she hugged him back.
Jessica walked into the room and froze before laughing and fighting hurt, "What's this? No hug for me?"
"JESSIE" he laughed as he pulled her against him, ruffling her hair.
"SIRIUS! NOT THE HAIR!" he laughed again as she attempted to fix her forever messy hair.
Jasmine was the last person to walk in, she walked in slowly while looking down at her feet.
The moment she walked in, Sirius was entirely focused on her. "Jasmine.." he whispered as if it was the final prayer of a dying man.
"Sirius..." she started but he pulled her into his chest and kissed her deeply.
"Never again will i be separated from you" he declared when he pulled away.
"Never again,' She agreed as they started their forever.
